Flax, such an important supplement. I began taking it personally while working my way through a month long detox.QUALITY: Yes, Spectrum did a great job providing an organic solution for those of us who are sensitive to how many chemicals are put on our plants. You can taste the difference of their 3 step process that removes impurities. In fact I believe Spectrum is one of the few to take this care with their product. It seemed to remove the overly bitter taste that other brands have.USE: I mixed mine into a home made salad dressing for lunches. The oil seemed to really pick up the flavor of the other spices, leaving me with a silky dressing that is delicious! There are some great recipes out there if you do a quick search.HEALTH: I did notice a few health benefits from taking this oil. I had some digestion issues when I started, after about a week of these salads with the oil, I found a lot of my issues had calmed down. I believe this quality organic oil really helped me get back on the road to good health. I did notice faster growth in my fingernails as well.It has -1) Omega-3 in it, it is an important component of almost all cell membranes; therefore, sufficient amounts of these fatty acids are necessary and need to be balanced to maintain good health.2) It calms the inner lining of the inflamed intestines3) Promotes healthy skin4) Plays a role in burning body fat.---> All in all, this is a fantastic trustworthy brand and product. We use this product on salads. It doesn't have lignans which seem to be crushed flax seeds at the bottom of the bottle which are difficult to remove, so that is a positive to us. Taste is the best of many flax oils we've tried.

The bottle states "refrigerated from us to you " and I doubt if the final leg of delivery to our home address was refrigerated felt warm. Otherwise no complaint

I can smell the freshness of it without having the lignan part in there. And thank you for the pouring top that the oil does not drip down the bottle. The most important thing are the quality and the fact that it's organic make me feel safe to consume it.

Spectrum=Quality

Disappointed! I ordered this last month and it is rancid. Strong strange rancid fish tasting flavor. I believe it is because of the warm weather it was delivered in. It was packed with regular packing, no cold packs, so I immediately refrigerated the warm bottle upon arrival. I will not be ordering flax seed oil in hot weather any longer...it may also be that it was a bad batch and had nothing to do with the weather. Who knows? Udo's flax seed oil is the only oil I have had great experience with. It is very fresh and pleasant tasting, but very expensive. I was hoping that Spectrum could be a replacement for the Udo's flax see oil. I was wrong and will have to go back to using Udo's flax seed oil. Udo's also comes in a glass bottle, which I like. Maybe I will try and order this again in the winter, we'll see. As for this one, I am returning it.

My naturopath told me to take flaxseed oil to improve my asthma as it decreases the inflammation in my body. I took a tablespoon every morning with breakfast and my asthma and inflammation improved. Tastes like butter and you can mix into your food. It is a blood thinner so I have to be careful not to take too much.

I always make sure to get my omega! I use the flax seed in my smoothies every morning and you cant even tell! Spectrum is a really great brand!

I have only just started using this but ordered it because it was highly recommended.. I live in France and this came all the way from USA... It came very quickly and I am enjoying this every day .... I will be able to say more about it in 3 months time .

I have tried a lot of Organic Flax seed oils, and this is by far the best. Tastes great, always fresh, well packaged, filtered to prevent any rancidity and packed using an inert gas to maintain oil in tip top condition. Highly recommended, I will be staying with this brand.
