RWM Casters VIR-0415-08 4" Diameter X 1-1/2" Width Cast Iron V-Groove Wheel with Straight Roller Bearing, 700 lbs Capacity

I purchased two of these and used them with a sliding barn door in my kitchen. The door I built weighed over 100 pounds. The casters had no problem moving the door along the steel rail.

These wheels are installed on a 100+ lbs barn style door that I built outta pine select wood. All the steel that I used on this project is 1/8 that I purchased from Home Depot. I love that they have ball bearings n u just load it with grease and they are ready to go. They are VERY smooth and they are so far working great. I'm building another barn stile door w/ a mirror n I'll be using these wheels again.

This is a direct replacement to my gate wheels - installs very easily, just DON'T FORGET TO PUMP GREASE INTO THE ZERK FITTINGS! They come un-lubricated, and MUST be greased before use.

I'm restoring an old portable sawmill. The wheels are designed to run on the top edge of a piece of 1/4" angle iron. The existing wheels were completely shot and weren't effective to start with. I ordered a set of (4) of these wheels and couldn't be happier. While designed to run on a piece of inverted angle iron, the center grove worked out perfectly for trackiing on the edge of the heavy steel on the frame of the mill..I read one review where the guy was badmouthing these wheels because they weren't sealed bearings. Each of these wheels come with a zert fitting to grease the bearings and I even found some zert axles ($0.99 each) to use with them. I needed a cheap but durable solution to my "industrial" application. I'm very happy with what I found. My advise...if you need a sealed bearing caster....look to spend a little (well....maybe a bit more than a little!) more money and buy what you need.

Direct replacement for the casters on my driveway gate. I needed to pack the bearings with grease before installing and added a little grease through the grease zerk once installed. They run smooth and quiet! With a little grease every now and then, I expect they'll last for years.

Easily handle my sliding barn doors. I was surprised they have grease fittings, so the should be mounted in a way that make these fitting accessable. They are shipped with a light oil lube, I assume they should be greased after installation. Also, one of my six wheels arrived with a cracked hub. Amazon had a new one delivered within 48 hours.

I had my front gate for about 10 years. The wheels were starting to make the gate hard to push. This new wheels are actually better then the original's. Would buy again.

VERY solid wheels. I planned to use them as hardware for a barn door, but ended up going with a hardware set, due to some difficulty finding all of the necessary pieces on their own. I'll save these for future use, but I am extremely happy with the look, quality, and functionality of these casters.
