Honestly, I have two different dachshunds. I have one that would love any treat that is put down to them and then the other is very specific and will only eat treats that are essentially healthy for you. He doesn’t like artificially colored treats or flavored treats when I got this bag, both of them went crazy for the treats. They really like sweet potatoes so this was a great treat. I loved that it was freeze dried and it was great value for your money. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to train your dachshund or spoil them because these treats are healthy and won’t pack on the pounds to your loved puppy. They can smell the treats when I bring them in the house because their nose are so good.

These were...ok. A little chalkie so after a while you get a lot of dust at the bottom of the bag. However, that dust does make a good food topper so it is usable. My pup wasn't a huge fan of it, but we put it in the food and then it went down just fine. I don't know if it was the taste or consistency. It lasted as expected so it stayed fresh. Good bite size pieces. All natural ingredient so that's helpful --especially for doggies with sensitive stomachs. Give it a try. It's a matter of what your dog will like....

Our dog loves treats from this brand and these are no exceptions. They are smaller than the orange sweet potato treats which is nice because there is more quantity. I would have loved using this in training but sadly our girl is too old to be trained anymore. These are healthy ingredients with none of the additives that we hope will add to a long healthy life for our dog. Our golden doodle is very picky when it comes to food but she has not had any stomach issues thus far with this product or from a better treat. A go to treat for us!

My dogs not a fan? I try to be a good pet parent and purchase healthy treats but they weren't having it.Neither of my dogs liked the taste...sorry!

This was sent as a substitution for another product I usually buy. It's not something I would give my dog. But I rehydrated these treats and served him with his regular food and he did enjoy them.

My dogs have been a fan of A Better Treats for a while now. We first tried their chicken breast flavor and the dogs loved it, even my parents’ picky maltipoo ate them!Recently saw their new sweet potato bag and bought it to try out. My senior chihuahua doesn’t have many teeth left but was still able to eat these easily. Size & texture is small and soft enough for him. It’s also a plus that it’s low calorie so I don’t feel too bad about giving them a lot during our training sessions.

My pup has very loose stool after consuming some of these as treats so we decided to stop giving him.
