I love this handheld red light device it warms up and massages your face and I can do it at the comfort of my own home! Its such a convenient device! 12 mins a day to have glowing skin! I recommend getting the blue serum with it.

I really look forward to the nights that I use my Solawave wand. I use this before bed with my nighttime facial serum. It warms it up slightly and helps evenly distribute it while gently pressing it into my skin. It's super relaxing to me. The wand is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. I haven't had any redness or irritation. The one con that I have is that this can't be used on the neck. I'm sure it's for safety reasons but my neck needs more work than my face and it would be great to have a wand that can be used on the face and neck. Overall, I'm enjoying my self care routine with this light therapy wand. I haven't noticed any reduction in fine lines or wrinkles yet but my overall skin health has improved. I'll definitely stick with this routine and hopefully see more results.

How do you best review a beauty / medical product on a platform that doesn't allow reviews to contain any medical efficacy notes? I guess for starters, I don't have to make any educated guess about if it has any advertised anti-aging effects, which probably is for the best, as I'd only be able to tell if my face fell of, or something similar, whereas I'd sooner believe this would cause low-grade skin damage or change over some longer period of usage. So far, we haven't seemed to take any damage, so it's probably not terrible. It does come with some pretty scary warnings about not shining the light into your eyes, so be on your guard on that front. What I've noted that I like (as a not terribly aging-centered guy) is that it feels somewhat pleasant - a bit like shaving, but without the grinding and face-ripping bits; there's more of a slight vibration and warming sensation when brushing over my face. My girlfriend, who is a bit more passionate about these kinds of things got really excited when I got it, and has been operating it a whole lot more than I do, as she seemed to integrate it into her nightly routine. The "Solawave activating serum" bottle in the product pictures is not present in what ships to you: this is just the wand itself, a little not terribly convenient plastic case for it, and a little annoying USB A to weird magsafe-like connector charge cable that you can stick to the device (in or out of its case) to charge it up from the bottom. It's a little finicky to get it to connect, and you have to find somewhere to rest it where it won't just immediately disconnect, as the magnets aren't magsafe-like and strong, and more aesthetic in nature: the theory but not practice of convenience at your fingertips. Points off for the USB A connector; in 2024, that should be a USB C power cable. The European Union is right: it's time to let the square one-way-is-wrong connectors go to the grave now, and this company isn't helping.

Im riding the Solawave wave. I was apprehensive when I read the warnings saying to not use it on the chest because it can cause heart disturbances, avoiding your thyroid or it causing headaches. Honestly its scary when you think your just working on skin care. The actual product though is nice and a total self care moment for me. Its vibration and redlight allows me to focus on myself. Its a good addition to my routine. However all the risks should be known as its an investment.

Solawave 4-in-1 Radiant Renewal Facial Wand | Red Light Therapy for Face and Neck | Galvanic S... I enjoy using this device, but I can't say I'm 100% sold on its effects. I have experience with red light therapy and trust it for aches and pains as well as for skin renewal. But because I have experience and have seen results with red light on my face using red light masks and lamps, I'm not convinced that using this tiny device for just 3 mins a day is going to do as much as using one of the other full face devices for 10-15 min a day. It may eventually do the job, but I imagine it is going to be a much much longer timeline to reach results. As I said though, I do enjoy using the device. There is something relaxing about it. I'm assuming it's the vibration and heat it produces that makes it more like a massage for the face. It is something I also can do while just watching tv or on the computer because it doesn't require me to cover my eyes like the full-face devices I own. Since mine did not come with the serum, I sometimes use my own serums or just use it on a freshly washed face.
