Great cost effective replacement for truck!

I like that the twenty six foot roll covers both sides of a 1989 F150 in one continuous sweep, so no joints break the line. The three inch black band with chrome edge feels period correct yet wide enough to shield door panels from lot rash. Stainless backing resists sun warp and rust, while the genuine 3M tape gives a clean peel align press job without drills. Made in the USA and tagged OEM grade, the shine ought to match factory bumpers.

This was the finishing touch for us in restoring my Dad's 1991 Ford F150 single-cab long-bed 4X4! We got a quote for the dealer for the rubber/chrome side-bumpers that exceeded $600! They were charging about $320 per side for the parts alone and that didn't include the adhesive needed to attach it to the body of the truck. They also provided no warranty of any kind for the trim's pliability or corrosion resistance! They would be basically selling us NOS (New Old Stock) with questionable fitment and no guarantees on suitability to the outcome of the project.The All-Fit rubber/chrome aftermarket trim eliminated all the risk and anxiety of trying to buy a simple trim for the old Ford truck! They include 26 feet of trim, plenty to do both sides even on the longest trucks from 1987-1991. It's so nice getting a kit that's complete with 3M-Brand adhesive and enough to replace all the trim on any of the covered trucks! It's an amazing value at < $150 for a complete package!It's easy to install, it's a pressure-sensitive adhesive so simply apply firm pressure as you "set" it and it makes a permanent bond. Ensure you have everything lined up before you press as it's strong adhesive.It looks better than the OEM trim, it has a slightly updated profile so probably you won't be able to use this to "patch" lost pieces even if your trim was in good shape to begin with. Plan on buying this to completely replace the old trim entirely!This was the perfect solution to the "imperfect" solution offered by the dealership...I'm glad we didn't go down that route!

This side molding is a perfect match for my old 90 Ford F-150, and it’s easy to install. I will say you definitely want to make sure you have cleaned the channel and removed any of the old adhesion/dirt that his built up. It looks just like the original, making it a fantastic option for restoration. Great function, value and durable. Adhesion is solid. Highly recommend!
