My DR.ÖTEK digging tool arrived very quickly and well-packaged. It's very sturdy (made of 3mm thick steel, see pic) so it's not going to break or bend and with serrations and straight knife-edge sections on opposing sides of the cutting blade should cope with most arable/woodland/beach digging scenarios. I've found it very good in use, the shaped rubber grip makes the digger feel comfy and secure in your hand.The protective sheath is strong and well thought out with a securing strap that wraps around the tool handle with velcro. It has a generous sized belt loop which will fit on any belt up to about 70-75mm wide, this loop is also secured with velcro so you can put it on or take it off your belt without having to thread it along.I'm very pleased with the quality of this tool which is a welcome addition to my metal detecting equipment.

We had previously bought a different brand of sifter and it fell apart after 3 uses so we sent it back. We gave this Dr Ortek sifter a try and it is much more solidly made and will last a hell of a lot longer than the other piece if tat that we had.

This piece of kit is solid. Having an allotment, and practising metal detecting, this digger will fit both needs. Couple of points on functionality: The back of the digger has inches and mm marked. These are lazer etched and so should stand the aggression of soil and gravel. The digger itself is solid steal construction with plastic handle - robust . The sheath has a velcro loop for attaching to belts , very easy to attach and un attach quickly. Designed well and functional.

Great sand scoop for the money, second time on the beach using it I found a £2000 gold and platinum mounted diamond trilogy ring which paid for all of my equipment!You won’t be disappointed and can pay a lot more for bigger brand names.

Good for helping with metal detecting at the beach

This is a tremendous bit of kit for the money. It enables you to cut a very neat plug.The holster has large belt loops fitting well on my tactical belt.Thoroughly recommended.
