They do the job

Item is well constructed, but sizing is wrong for the European market. I am 5’ 7” tall of medium build and would require at least an XL size to secure Velcro waist straps so item returned but will be ordering a size larger.

I bought these to wear while learning to ice skate because I've fallen and hurt my wrists badly enough to bruise.I thought they might be ugly and bulky kind of like what your parents make you wear as a kid rollerblading, but no! They're great!The two solid shells are bendy enough to be comfortable moving your hands, and are held together by a thin but sturdy netting that's stitched to the soft pads. They might be just slightly too big to wear with gloves over the top, but wearing gloves under them is no problem at all.They're comfortable without gloves too if you're using them as is.They also came in a handy little net bag so you can store them easily in a bag without them getting separated, and let them dry off.Genuinely good for the price and a worthwhile purchase!

These are a good budget option if you are sticking to flatground skating. But if you're going anywhere near ramps, invest in something studier. Just took a bad fall from a 6ft ramp in these and have a pretty badly bruised palm, so am now looking to upgrade! These have saved my palms from bruising and scrapes during several small falls from standing however, so they do work for that. Build quality is fine, and they're a bit flexible so not really uncomfortable. Not sure they'd stop a wrist fracture on a hard awkward fall though, especially for someone on the heavier side. You'd need tougher splints for that (these are quite thin plastic) Buy cheap buy twice!

These were great. A little small when putting on over my gloves but still fit well. Have peace on mind when moving about at speed

Not for me. They serve the purpose and protect wrists really well on both sides but the adjustable straps were torn after two sessions (due to me sliding on the wrists before I fully stop) and then metal circle inside got into my palm and took some of the skin. It is my fourth different pair this year. My last hope is in ennui city brace

If you have large forearms you will struggle to tighten as the straps could be longer, however they are comfortable once on and seem as though they will support the wrists in light or heavy falls
