durable
i bought 2 pieces and combined them together..it is a very sturdy cage.easy to assemble.you can get by with a phillips head screw driver, but if you have soft hands, you will want a drill with a phillips head attachment. my hands are calysed and still were a little sore.lol. it comes with pre drilled holes that helps out a lot. the only thing they could do to make it a little easier,,would be to label the pieces with a sticker or something, other than that i have no complaints..having wheels is a big plus for moving it around.. i bought this for my 7 foot boa constrictor knowing i would have to put plexiglass over most of the wired mesh to stop injury of my snake from pushing on it..but it is a steal for the size of the cage,, even after adding plexiglass..a cage for reptiles this large will cost up to 2 thousand if not more. as for cats it would be perfect for a enclosure when needed. all in all im very happy with the enclosure/cage. very sturdy, well priced.if your looking for a large reptile cage buy 2 and combine them together even if you need to make adjustments like plexiglass. it works very well. as for the little sliding doors,i just screwed 2 screws above the doors,no problems at all. you dont need them because of the large front doors gives easy access. when you combine them together,it will say to leave the 2 top sides out so your animal has access to both sides. if your using it for a reptile, the 2 bottom side pieces on the connecting side ,the instructions say to keep them part of the cage for sturdiness, and you should. but if you want your reptile etc. to have access from the bottom side side to,just remove the screen and just use the frame,i did and it works very well and sturdy. for all athers.im not a cat owner, but im positive this would be a good sturdy enclosure when needed. im very happy with the purchase.

Easy to assemble
Well a lot of reviews said to drill but everything had predrilled holes and I followed the instructions closely. I flipped two panels and had to fix them. Was easy peasy. I enjoyed putting it together, nothing broke. I cut a hole in the box and screen before I assembled the box shelf, to use a heated mat. Now to see if my cat will use it. I’m gonna let him explore it before I ever shut him in it. The wheels roll nice. I did have to find longer screws for the roof but we had some fence screws that worked.Cant wait to see him using the top shelf on his own because it’s a nice hidy-hole. I plan to use it for a cage after we move, until he gets used to the new garage.

Cats love it!
I wish I bought this sooner. It’s the purrfect size for my small 8x8 deck. The quality is alright, definitely could be better- I plan on using waterproof spray so it will withstand the elements, I can picture water damage happening very easily. The wheels glide nicely, even on my grass. I only had one piece get a slight crack in it when using the drill to install the screws, which I expected after reading previous reviews. Overall, it took me 2 hours to unbox/assemble/place and I did it by myself. It says 2 person build but I did it relatively easy on my own. I say if you don’t feel like spending the time building your own catio, this is the next best option.

Catio worth buying
What a lifesaver this catio has been! We have 2 indoor cats and they love the outdoors but we live on a traffic street and it's not save. I highly recommend this catio. We watched a couple of videos on how to put it together and it went together nicely. It's very nice and we showed it off to friends, which then they bought them. Really pleased that we could swing the price and get it. I think in the long run it has saved us money on vet bills etc from being hurt outside.

Amateurs can put together!
My husband and I are definitely not handy! But we were able to put this together with our drill using a couple different size attachments. The pieces were marked well with numbers and the directions were easy to follow. We watched a video that was available, and we did learn one thing about two screws, potentially hitting one another when putting the wheels on. Knowing that, we were able to avoid the problem. We think this is a really sturdy unit, especially for the price. It has two small doors, top and bottom and two large opening doors. We enjoy being able to have our kitty out on the patio with us when we're out there, so she's not meowing about being left behind. We were used to having an indoor outdoor cat who had the freedom to explore. Unfortunately, we lost her to a coyote and decided to do an indoor only cat. But this at least gives her the opportunity to watch birds and butterflies and listen to all the sounds and smell all the smells so she has some additional stimulation. Recommend this product.

Good value, stylish, functional, and can be customized & decorated for even better results
The media could not be loaded. I love this thing! It has brought so much joy to me and my cats life! This product was very easy to assemble, my schedule didn’t allow for it to be done in one sitting but it took like an hour and a half or so total. I flipped the top and bottom so that the doors are not aligned but opposite. This allows me to open from the front and also lines up with the window so that it opens to that pretty well. I had to build a platform so that it reached all the way but that was also relatively easy. After assembling I decided to decorate with astroturf, fake plants, and a cat bed, I have a cat tree in there too now. I also added stairs. I ordered those on Amazon too. To install the stairs we drilled a supporting piece of wood to the sides and then drilled the screws into the stairs where they are supposed to be attached anyways (I believe my boyfriend pre drilled holes and then put the screws in to make it a little easier). Now I’m getting a window insert cat door and am going to use either wood and or plexiglass to attach it to the window so she can go in and out as she pleases.
