simple bit well made joining plates
these stainless steel joining plates are a simple item but they work very well.the come with screws but for heavy duty use i'd counsel you use your own better fixings to secure the pieces you are joining.the price for a page of 10 is very decent. i think they're a good product.

Great for DIY Tasks, Not for Heavy Loads
These joining plates are perfect for my needs. Made from stainless steel, they’re suitable for outdoor use and are strong enough for tasks like mounting shelves or joining timber, which I do often. While they feel sturdy, I wouldn’t recommend them for heavy load-bearing applications, as they’re relatively thin. The edges are a bit rough, but that’s not a big issue—just something to watch out for when handling and you can always easily sand those rough edges down.
