Svbony Telescope Eyepiece 1.25", 6mm 66° Wide Angle Telescope Eyepiece Lens, FMC Eyepiece with Folding Down Eyecup 16mm Long Eye Relief, Telescope Accessories for Observing Planets Moon

I bought a telescope about 2 Months ago, but found the lenses supplied with it were a bit cheaply made, and as I wear glasses the eye relief was too short to use them while wearing glasses.This Svbony Goldline Planetary Eyepiece had a longer eye relief and an extra wide 66° field of view. It was also highly recommended by other buyers.When the lens arrived, the difference in optical and build quality was obvious! The neat fold down rubber eye cup is good for glasses wearers, and the hefty solid feel of the FMC multiple glass elements just feels high quality.On the telescope, the difference in sharpness and edge to edge clarity compared with the original lenses was amazing! I ordered a 6mm version from Svbony too, and will probably get the 15mm and 20mm lenses to complete the set at a later date.Note: I have only had chance to test this lens on planet Venus and on long distance terrestrial views and wildlife. A few days after receiving it, I had unplanned emergency major surgery, and was only discharged on 3rd. July 23. I can't wait to check it out on the Moon!

As a complete beginner this was a great first upgrade from my standard lens that came with my telescope. The wide angle makes it much easier to find good eye relief (for myself and the kids) and gave a very clear view. Highly recommend

I got the 6mm eyepiece and I am very pleased. High quality eyepiece, full metal construction is great and they feel a sturdy and quality item. They have a large exit lens so are very comfortable to use and the image quality is fantastic, easy to focus and the focus extends right the way to the edge of the large field of view. 5*'s from me!

Super quality nice to use great value

Although I'm relatively new to astronomy, I was very impressed with this eyepiece.I own a basic refractor with an aperture of 2.75" & the 9mm ultra wide worked really well with it, offering me a combined field of view similar to that of the stock 20mm eyepiece (possibly greater) and a marginally higher magnification than the 10mm supplied with the telescope.Upon first glance it feels quite weighty and of good quality, and for the price I have no complaints. The eye relief is very forgiving and if you're after an eyepiece which offers a healthy balance of magnification & field of view without the one cancelling out the other, for the outlay this one is pretty good.

We tried this with our skywatcher heritage 130p telescope. It was a Christmas present.We could not see anything with it. Maybe our fault as just learning telescopes and we bought it because someone had recommended it on line
