the quality of this is very bad, i cheaped out on the lights and this is why i get. while i was sticking the lights in my room thr paper ripped and half of them instantly stopped working. invest in these

Look the part and easy to use. The only issue I would have is you should get a few connectors with them for when you cut them and want to reuse the rest of the strip.

I purchased these fantastic lights for the front window of my house, and I have to say, they look absolutely stunning when the sun goes down. One of my favorite features is the ability to control the lights directly from my phone, which makes adjusting them a breeze. Bought this set of lights because it can be controlled by the Lotus Lantern app. Downloaded app to test the lights. The “free” app is very limited with about 6 color choices, rather than the millions quoted. If you want the fully functional “premium” app it costs $6.99 a week! Even with the free app the only way to get the lights to turn in was by unplugging and replugging the controller, did not try the included remote. Returned for refund. Only one star as there no lower option.

I use this as my office backlighting. In my case I have it setup so the lights themselves are visible, but are behind me. I have had this setup for many years, and have tried a few different LED strips. One thing I noticed about these, is that they are definitely bright. The red and green are quite vivid, but the blue is not quite as deep, and the purple is very washed out, which is sad for me as I love the appearance of deep purple LEDs.The remote is really good, more buttons, off-white options, feels more robust than other ones I've had in the past.
