The item needs to been delivered via local truck company. After several appointments, only delivered to front door by a week delay. The product is very solid and easy to setup.

We returned this bed. The wheels are too small to move the bed on plush carpet. It would probably be okay on hardwood floors. We think once occupied it would be very hard to shift it to keep the area clean. The mattress is too thin. It looks uncomfortable.We did buy a bed with large wheels and bought a thicker mattress. Buying medical equipment for elderly parents is confusing.This is not a bad option, just didn't work for us.

My husband is 80 years old with cancer - can't walk. He spends a lot of time in bed. This bed is a blessing it is low to the floor so he can stand and turn to sit in his wheel chair. It has rails that keeps him from falling out of bed. The head and foot of the bed is adjustable. The bed pays for itself in no time compared to renting one. The drawbacks are the mattress is to thin causing the bed to be hard. It takes two people to put the bed together. It is heavy.
