Fun and easy activity for kids
This was such a fun activity. I spent some time with my 3 year old and built these. It took very little time before she was making them all by herself. She loved it! It's easy to set up. The tub that stores everything can be used to fill with water. We made a bunch really quickly. Then later we used them during bathtime. They held up pretty well. Some were too soft but I think that was because I hadn't left them long enough to sit. But otherwise they worked really well and have lasted even until now (several weeks later). I really love the colors it came with (a range of some brilliant and other more subtle colors). It was a super easy cleanup as well. I had my daughter help me to close the lids and store everything in the tub. I really love having a container for everything. Very satisfied with this product and grateful for another fun activity I can do with my kids.

Fun activity, Kids love it. Be ready for a little mess
If you are doing this with little kiddo be prepared for a little mess. My kids had a lot of fun with this kit. For the most part I followed the instructions except I kept the squishies in the calcium lactate water bath over night . The squishies were solid enough to handle but are not made to withstand being thrown around or squeezed. Also you will need to keep squishies moist so they don’t dry out. If you have the mindset as if your kids are playing with playdoh and you will have to throw away the creations later on, you will have the right expectations this kit will provide lots of fun and creativity. I saw other reviewers mention their creations were crumbly. From the experience my daughter and I had, I think the crumbly comes from how you squeeze out the gel and not the product itself. My daughter used many different gel colors with hers while I used 1-3 different max and I tended to have fewer squeeze outs. To clarify every squeeze you do you will have a blob and each blob will “skin” and have a border with the next blob. The more blobs your creation has the more crumble or break points it will have . This is where having less squeezes or blobs helps the creation have less break points. The squishies we made a few days ago, I left it out to dry overnight and this morning they were still moist and holding together. Perhaps I will follow up once they fully dry.Update:If you keep the squishies moist/wet and if you play careful with the creations like you would with playdoh, they tended to last. Ours lasted 3-4 days no problem. Just for fun we left the creations out to dry completely. These ones dried hard but shrunk to 1/10th the size

Highly recommended!
I got this Magic Gel Toy Kit for my daughter, and OMG, it’s been a total hit! She’s been obsessed with creating these adorable squishy sea creatures. The colors are super vibrant, and the kit is packed with so many options—20 gels and 16 molds! It’s honestly the most fun we’ve had with a craft kit in ages. She’s been playing with it non-stop, and I love how creative it lets her be. Plus, it’s not messy like I thought it might be (win for me!). If you’re looking for a gift that’ll keep your kids entertained for hours, this is it. Highly recommend!

No
We purchased a different brand the first time and absolutely loved the results, however, I wasn’t paying attention and purchased this one thinking it was same brand. I have been highly disappointed. It doesn’t puff up like the other ones when soaked in water, it remains squishy inside, it takes a funny shape, the dishes aren’t as deep so They don’t form as well and finally, the colors don’t seem to bind together, so they actually come apart of using multiple colors in the shape

Kind of do not get it....
I got this for my daughter for Christmas as she is really into "squishy" toys and fidgets right now. Making them was super fun for her and after a couple times of making them with her she completely understood how to do it so she was able to play and I could get work done. I am just confused, are they only for playing in the water? Then discard? I let ours stay out and dry for over 24 hours, maybe I am missing the concept here but if you expect to be able to make them and then your kid have squishy toys to play with this is not your jam.
