You need: fuse carrier + 5A fuse, + and wire for extending the power leads in order to install
Seems to work OK on manual (only tested manual operation as I'm not currently using fridge and the weather is too cool at the moment to trigger the temperature sensor). Managed to pick up 12v feed from a 12v socket and fitted a bulkhead mount fuse carrier above the 12v socket, extended the power feed wiring (would be better if the unit came with longer power wires), taped the "headphone" connection together to ensure it can't come unplugged accidentally.

Value for money
Great product for the price the second one I've purchased would definitely recommend, easy to install

Seems to do the job
Motorhome fridge wasn't coping in hotter weather so needed fan assistance to circulate air past the fridge coli things and out of the grilles rather than just hoping for convection. When on there is slight background noise from spinning fans, but not obtrusive. There is manual setting when it runs full tilt, or auto where a temperature sensor in the fan mount will run at moderate or full tilt speed depending on the temp. It won't switch off fully by itself if temps drop say overnight that fan isn't needed, but switch allows you to select off and then it simply has a LED showing power is connected. Max power use is apparently 6W at 12V. Temps to the fridge did drop so short term at least this works, but have only had a few days so can't speak for long term reliability. Fitting is a bit of a challenge. The positive and negative power connection wires which come from the switch box are only 200mm or so long. They are very thin. You will need your own 12V 5A cable to get to and from where ever you can tap into a 12V supply to your fridge (if you don't have a wiring diagram of your vehicle, get a multimeter), and then connectors at your tap in point and also to make to the fan switch end. Also recommended you have an in line 5A fuse on the positive connection. Lead between the switch and fan is less than a metre length, and has at least three cables, but has a plug connector (looks like something you'd find on headphones) mid length so you can at least push the cable through from your fan mounted by a vent grill on the van side, and to your switch position which you'd have near the fridge.

Does the job and is fairly easy to fit but could be better.
This is a decent product but with some annoying features. Fan size is 80 cm which presumably is sufficent as I haven't had to chance to test it properly yet. However, fitting is made more difficult because the cable between the controller and fans has a jack-plug connection which requires a 10mm hole in whatever it passes through. The 12v supply wires are very thin and very short so joining is almost essential, but made more difficult by the very narrow gauge wire. There is a hole in the controller box where you are supposed to be able to adjust the temperature but the only screwdriver I have which fitted (a very small phillips type) appeared to contact nothing as no resistance could be felt. The hole is so small it is impossible to see what is in there. I took the back off and turned it around as the two cables exit from different holes and rerouted the fan cable so that both came out of thesame hole. The pcb is not only screwed into the case but there is also a seal of some kind, so I was unable to see the front where the temperature adjustment screw is supposed to be. The instructions are poor and fairly brief so I emailed Brunner for further info but they simply referred me to the dealer! As that is Amazon, then no chance of contacting anybody to get help. The fan kit appeared to come from somewhere in France according to the tracking information. The fans work OK on manual, so I may just stick with that and ignore the auto setting.

Caravan fridge
Bought these to add cooling to the fridge on my caravan! So far it’s doing a great job, unfortunately I can’t tell if the sensor is working as the fans are going all the time. I will need to wait until end of season when I remove the awning.

Good to start with then started an annoying squeal, but new unit seems to be working well.
I bought one of these a while ago to fit in my Autosleeper top fridge vent. Fitting was pretty simple and at first the unit worked well. A few days after fitting, it started making a squealing noise every time the fans started. (I posted a video of this on YouTube). As I was about to go on a long tour of a France, I didn't have time to get a refund so just ordered a different type from somewhere else. This one was also easy to fit but didn't have the annoying squeal on start up. Review Edited..so, being a glutton for punishment, I needed another fridge vent kit and this was the only one I could find with quick delivery to France. The kit, as before was easy to fit and has no annoying squeal like the last one did. It appears to be working well and is doing just what it is supposed to do. Time will tell how long it lasts and if I get any problems with it I will update the review. So, for now, I have updated the stars to 4. Edited. Well these lasted about 2 weeks before they started screeching when the fans started on the auto setting. Sending them back and have bought a different kit from a company in Germany. I cannot recommend the Brunner Vento kit at all and have reduced the rating to the lowest I can. 1 star

OK but too many issues re installation, plus went faulty FOUR TIMES
It OK,,, No inline 5amp fuse, had to buy one, No screws had to buy them, Negative and positive wire very short and very light gauge. One fan very noisey, will have to turn off at night for to sleep. Otherwise does the job, may replace the fans with computer rated ones to keep the motorhome quiet. Not a simple set up, I used the live wire to the LIVE terminal to the switch that turns on the oven light, then the Negative terminal from the oven light Holder at the back of the oven. then fed the wires across the top of the fridge. Mounted the control unit below the light switches. to make a very neat job. Motorhome Chausson Flash 03 2008 model. other motor homes may differ re wiring and set up. Fans installed at an angle as per picture on the box, screws and silicone used. hope all this info helps others. Lasted ONE DAY then switch went faulty, would not switch off in the "O" position, still kept running. Had to get a replacement. I Will probably have to order a spare, as I would question the life expectancy of the unit. REPLACEMENT UNIT now faulty within a week same switch problems BUT now will only go ON, OFF but NO AUTO. There seems to be some BIG issues re the quality of the SWITCH. I have informed Brunner waiting for response re How they are going to resolve this issue, as I surely cannot be the only one having this problem. Now another two have gone faulty. There are BIG QUALITY ISSUES WITH THIS PRODUCT. Third one lasted a week, had bought a spare also via my sons Prime account, put it in today,, FAULTY,, Will have to send one back at a time. Will only work on Constant. The Auto function had gone belly up on ALL four..

Funkar men lite ljudlig
Fyller sitt syfte men gnisslar lite från ena fläkten vilket är lite störande, utan oljudet ett högre betyg
