Great gift idea for those with hard flooring
I bought this as a Christmas gift for an adult who has hardwood flooring. He loves it. He controls it going back and forth between rooms, and the drifting is on point. You can tell he's having a lot of fun with it. It goes pretty fast. The battery life is as expected on any RC car. This is much better quality than I expected. This is a good value.

Best bang for buck RTR beginner drift rc
Faster and stronger than expected. Drifts well. too large for the speed it has for indoor usage unless lots of open space where you live. Not a negative with that just means it's powerful for the money you spend definitely Worth. Doesn't appear to have too huge of customization but otherwise a great beginner drift rc battery holds a decent charge for run time

Grab extra batteries lots of fun. Looks great in nighttime with the lights on

Motor went out quick
The motor went out on the second day of use. I wouldn't recommend. The battery's do not last as long as advertised. Was fun while it lasted

Not that great for indoors
The build quality of the car seems nice. It is pretty heavy for it's size. It is a little bigger than I thought it would be. We saw some of the videos of people getting it to drift around on hard floors, but we couldn't get ours to work like that. The tires stick to everything, and it goes way too fast to drive indoors... Kept running into cabinets in the kitchen and had difficulty turning. Maybe we just received a dud, or maybe we're just not good at driving it. I would recommend getting a different car that is more like a 1/24 scale, if you'll be using it indoors.

Nice and heavy, really fast, fun to drift, great toy for adult or child. Looks like it will last a long time.

Drifts very nicely! As good as more expensive RC I have.
First off, it’s a very sharp looking model for the collection. Nice details, very clean details and solid build quality. Pro’s and Cons: obviously the look of it is a huge bonus. The motor has more than enough power for the purpose of drifting. It has proportional throttle, which allows you to kick the read end around to start the drift very easily. For the size it’s fairly quick with the rubber tires. Where it shines is the drifting. The motor and gearing is properly set up to give you more torque than top speed, which is what allows you to throttle up and kick the rear end into the drift moves. Cons: the steering is not proportional. This had me concerned at first, but this turned out to matter very little for the drifting. I had full control of the car immediately, and with some practice I could drift this through tight spaces I am sure. I thought the fairest thing to do would be to show the drifting capability straight out of the box. So the video above was my very first time drifting it! I didn’t want to get super skilled at driving this car to give a false impression of its drifting abilities. I wanted the video to show you what you can do drifting this car straight out of the box. This is no joke, I have another drift car I paid $169 for, and my first time driving it looks identical to the video of me driving this car. No, it won’t perform like my $600 drift car, but it’s darn close to the cars I paid 2-3 times as much for in the drifting department. Overall: It drifts well, it’s built well, it’s got very clean looks. I wish it had proportional steering , but it does have proportional throttle. For the price, you can’t go wrong. It’s a ton of fun to drive, and it looks cool. I’d say this comfortably sits well above a “toy grade” RC , but it is just below a hobby grade RC. For some folks, that’s just what they are looking for. If you want a drift RC, don’t want a toy, but also don’t want a $200 hobby kit, this might be perfect for you.
