It allows players to explore the Minecraft world away from the screen, and they're engaging with a book (always a plus to my way of thinking) that they're interested in reading because it's about something they enjoy.Although Minecraft is not difficult to master and you don't need the book to play it, there is still a wealth of information in it that you might not otherwise know about. The book includes an introduction to the creators, a history of it's development and explanations about the different modes (Creator or Survival). There's also explanations about how to play and individual accounts from players about their experiences when playing the game.And because there is so much information in the book you can go back to it again and again, like a reference manual, to help you negotiate any challenges that crop up as you play.This is not only a useful book for any Minecraft fan, but it's also an attractively designed, great quality hardback; and one of a set produced by Egmont. Very helpful for when you are playing the game if you are struggling

It's easy enough to find out the information contained within the book online but the book has some really cool interviews advice a pieces of information that you may not be able to find online. Not only that but the book is of high quality and is incredibly unique. It's worth getting if you're a super minecraft fan or you love good quality stuff. Great shipping from Amazon too!

Over all this book is very good, simple to follow & read. The best bits are the minecraft timeline showing how far its come in such a short period of time & the little snipits from famous minecraft players. This is defiantly worth a purchase

My son adores Minecraft and so I brought this for him. He is 7 and has read this from cover to cover many times. He refers to it all the time. It is rather basic and there are still things we wonder about that this does not cover but I guess it is only a "beginners" guide. Worth it if your child is just starting out on Minecraft and a good price.

I bought this for my 6 year olds birthday. It says 9+ on the back of the book but we will read it together. He is a massive minecraft fan and loves to show me his creations. I have no idea what minecraft is all about, but this book is simple to read and is so easy to understand. I am sure we will both have lots of fun in the future. It has been approved by other family members ranging from 6-10 years who are also big fans. It is a good size and hardback so should last a long time. Very pleased with this purchase and recommend it.

My son loves this book. I thought it'd be great as he's so into the game (you tube videos at least, and a version on the iPad) and we want to obviously encourage his reading, so this book was perfect to encourage it and it's layout is great and very easy to follow. He takes it to bed with him, reads it during breakfast, or during playing the game to get hints. It's worked out great and will definitely consider the other series (might need to read it too to understand the game.) Thank-you!

Fantastic, much wanted by my Minecraft crazy son, 9 years. He's read and reread this book, it 's like the holy grail to him and is price if place by the side of his bed and he takes it to school too. He has other MC books and would like more, can't get enough of anything and everything Minecraft.
