Q: The gray/green option is the only one not pictured with a back that goes all the way to the canopy- does the back of it not extend that far up?

It's not the seat that goes up, but the good that goes down. I've seen both in person. The green one has a gap between the top of the seat and the canopy. The other colors (I saw the blue gray one), the canopy has a back panel of fabric that extends down to just past the top of the seat. There's a small cargo pocket facing the parent. You can't put much there because it's just fabric but it is handy for your phone. So, the seat back is the same height on all of them. It's just that panel and pocket that differs. Convenient for parents but I ended up keeeping the green one simply to save money.

Q: I have a five and a three year old and they are tall. We need a stroller for Disney. Would this work?

Absolutely!! Our children are the same age and we just went to Disney with them. My 5 yo weighs about 49lbs and is tall for her age. Our 3 yo weighs 35. It can be a bit hard to maneuver because of the weight but will work for tall children.

Q: Looking for a double stroller to take ona plane, so must be under 20lbs to gate check. The details say 23lbs, but reviews say 20lbs? Can anyone confirm this has been used/gate checked on a plane and IS 20lbs or less?

We've definitely been able to gate check this both in the US and Mexico. They never weighed it at the gate so I don't know if it is 23 lbs vs 20 lbs, but it made life incredibly easy going through the airport and on our trips outside the airport. Love this stroller!

Q: Do they recline independently - so one can sit up if the other is asleep and reclined?

Yes, keep in mind that the recline is very slight, only 1-2". So instead of being 80 degrees they may be sitting at 70 degrees.
