Mattel AmiGami Bird Figure

Sent for review, I regularly spend significantly more than the cost of this item in an arts & craft store with our daughter so I consider this good value for money.Our daughter loved playing with this. Because there are so many options and permutations, children really do create their own work of art (OK, I use `art' loosely with a 4-year old but I was pleased with what she did, and she was delighted).The box contains the bird, 30 paper parts, 55 reusable stickers and 6 pins & caps. It also contains a curling tool which my daughter loved using, to make spirals.The stickers are reusable but can only be reused up to three times. It means that your children can give their bird a new look.There are a number of Amigami animals in the range, e.g. cat, monkey and giraffe. A few of them like  AmiGami Dog and Doghouse Set  and  AmiGami DHG93 Tropical Bird & Beach House  give you two things to decorate, not just the animal - they are slightly more expensive but they are worth taking a look at too.The possibilities with this are impressive. You could give one to twenty children at a birthday party and each would end up with an entirely different creation.This is of good quality.

Aimed for girls really as the packaging is mainly pink.6+ years.*Stickers can be reused up to 3 times. (Small print on back of package).The packaging also states:1 Plastic Bird30 Paper Parts55 Reusable Stickers*1 Curling Tool6 Pins and Caps.Mattel has posted a video on YouTube.With 4 to collect (at least) each with over 500 possible ways to decorate, one could swap parts and have limitless ideas. The reverse side of the package gives ideas and instructions of usage.The bird is not quite 10cm in height. Although, for ages of 6+, I would suggest older kids would find it more challenging, inspiring their imagination. And with stickers, young kids may stick the stickers in places where stickers should not really be stuck.

My 5 year old granddaughter and I did this together. There are a ton of options for different looks. Parts are removable​ and you can re-create different looks over and over.

Unsre Tochter hatte sich immer diese AmiGami-Figuren gewünscht. Ich selbst war aber immer zu geizig dafür den UVP zu zahlen. Denn ehrlich gesagt ist dafür nicht allzuviel damit anzufangen. Wenn man das Tierchen einmal 'dekoriert' hat ist es meist auch schon getan. Natürlich könnte man es immer mal wieder umgestalten, aber ich kenne kein Kind welches das bisher gemacht hat.Nun habe ich sie hier zu einem unschlagbaren Schnäppchenpreis erstanden und meine Kids hatten solch eine Freude daran. Sie saßen eine halbe Stunde am Esstisch und haben ihre Tierchen gebastelt und ich hatte in derzeit 'Pause'. Die paar Euro waren super investiert, somit habe ich auch gleich mehrere bestellt. Zum UVP hätte ich sie allerdings nicht gekauft...

Macht Spaß wenn mehrere Kinder zusammen sind... Viele verschiedene Designs sind möglich... wird aber dann auch mal langweilig. Die verschiedenen Tierbastelsets können auch ineinander kombiniert werden

Unsere Mädchen wünschten sich AmiGami. 10 € war mir aber zu teuer. Nun war es im Angebot und ich habe es bestellt. Verpackung super und Lieferung war schnell. Die Mädchen haben sich sehr gefreut. Nach kurzer Zeit wurde es schon langweilig. Nun steht es nur noch rum.Zum reduzierten Preis kann man es aber schon kaufen, um Kindern eine kleine Freude zu bereiten.

Excellent little stocking filler or party favour, my daughter 7 had great fun making it and is already wishing for her next bday to have another!! All the pieces are pre cut and can be arranged in a multitude of ways (and rearranged later) which saves frustration and insures a perfect end result every time, delivery,packaging all good! Would definitely recommend
