I am very impressed with the effectiveness of this tool. For years, I have been grinding my miniature dachshunds' nails with a traditional Dremel, but the problem is getting her fur wrapped up in a spinning sanding wheel. The handle is ergonomically shaped, allowing precision work.The grinding wheel is ingeniously shaped, convex on the top surface, and concave on the edge circumference. This allows one to easily round-over the sharp edges of a freshly ground nail.Great so far, but the icing on the cake is the gringing wheel's guard. GONE is the danger of snagging her hair in a furiously rotating wheel!! This grinding session was the best ever. She was noticably more relaxed.

This is what I am talking about!!! This is the nail grinder that you want. I have the 6 speed original Casfuy. It worked great, but today when I went to use it, it had no charge. I put it away fully charged. So battery wasn't holding the charge. I began to charge it again, but decided to order a new one just in case. I have two big dogs with bear nails and the old nail grinder could never complete both dogs in one sitting. So I ordered this new more powerful unit with more battery capacity.It arrived Same-Day, 4 hours after I ordered it. Sweet!!! It came FULLY charged ready to go!!! It has a digital display that indicated 100%. I got both dogs done and it had plenty of power to grind the bear claws. When I was done, the digital display says 95% power left. That is what i am talking about!!! It has LED lights and a power wheel with variable power. Nice!!! And it is quiet and has very smooth operation. My 150lb dog doesn't not like her nails done and this nail grinder is quiet and smooth enough to keep her fighting to a minimal. Grinder feels good in your hands. Absolutely no complaints! In fact, it worked much better than I was expecting. And note that I own the original 6-speed grinder that worked great until issue with rechargeable battery. So in comparison, this new unit is a great upgrade. Well designed nail grinder! And love the same-day delivery by Amazon. And having it fully charged is a huge plus.

This product is the best dog nail grinder I've ever used! The diamond head drum, combined with a powerful motor, ground my German shepherd's nails quickly and didn't bog down like all nail grinders I've used in the past. The noise was quiet enough that it didn't seem to bother her much and she began to relax after just the first paw. And the most remarkable aspect of this product was that I had used less than half of the nail grinder's battery life, which is a rechargeable, built in battery. The AA battery operated grinders I've used in the past, bogged down terribly anytime any pressure was applied, which made it difficult to grind large dogs' nails, and made it impossible to finish quickly. This product is very efficient at getting the job done at an affordable price!I will recommend this product to all my friends who have dogs!

The media could not be loaded. I have been pleasantly surprised with this item. Very easy to use. Seems relatively quiet to me as it’s obviously going to make some noise. I think the value for the money is good. I’ve probably already saved the cost of this item by doing nails at home. I’ve even used it on my own nails so I could get a feel for using it and how to hold it. It’s comfortable to hold, the size seems in line with other nail grinders, the nail guard (which I don’t use) and different speeds help with safety. I’ve used it on my Frenchie, she doesn’t love it but she doesn’t hate it— work up SLOWLY to prevent your dog from developing a bad relationship with nail grinding. I have had a smaller orange one that just didn’t have the power. The power on this timer is great and variable. Rapidly works well on my big dog’s nails! Easy to use. Easy to adjust the speed and also has a light. Worth the money!

As advertised! This nail grinder is very quiet and works well on our bulldog’s very thick nails. The grinder having a light is definitely a plus!!!! Helps so much with seeing the nail and avoiding any painful mistakes. Highly recommend

Was very pleasantly surprised at the weight and the quality of this nail grinder! And AMAZED at my dogs response! He actually allowed me to do several nails, while wagging his tail. Mind you I have been totally unsuccessful with traditional nail trims with at home or at the vet. Have also made numerous attempts with grinders that were either too noisy or too weak. This is very easy to use and about as safe as it gets! Comes in many different color varieties - although please consider adding purple in the future!
