Ender 3 V3 SE Linear Guide Rail kit Upgrade
This upgrade made a SIGNIFICANT quality of print to my Ender 3 V3 SE. It removed the z-chatter in my 3D prints! I do not know why Creality didn’t offer this option from factory.

This is a sweet upgrade.
This linear rail kit looks pretty straightforward to install. I've been wanting to upgrade my printer for a while now. This helps with the print quality and speed. This upgrade kit doesn't fix any clogging issues, so don't expect miracles there. However, the printer moves way smoother now, which is a definite plus. It feels much more precise and stable during prints.Worth the money for the improved performance. Highly recommend this upgrade for anyone with a compatible printer.

Worth every penny.
Easy to install and works perfectly. Definitely worth it to not have to deal with the cheap wheels degrading and leaving the black dust everywhere. Worry free as long as it’s kept clean and oiled.

Was a real pain to get mounted right.
My only huge dislike is that fact the thing that comes with it to try to tell you what you need to do to install it. Is very lacking big time. The order is not even in the right steps let alone do they tell you how to put on the T nuts. I found that you can't put them on the bolts more than a few turns otherwise you will not have the room for them to fully lock down on the X arm. Once I took it off for the 3rd time and watching a video that is not even meant for this kit at all. I was able to get it on the arm and holding tight and stay flat, at lest on my printer I had to use 3 bolts and nut at the vary ends of the rail to keep it from twisting. But after I did get it on and tuned it as best I can seeing as Creality has locked out the input shaping on there firmware that they ship with the SE printers. I have found that it's is dead slint outside of when it get up and make a fast move but now the only thing I hear when it's printing is the 80mm fan upgrade I have done for the better hotend I have put on it. The only thing I have left is to get the Nabul pad kit and root that and I will have a KE. I would say unless you have got a high flow hotend like a FlowTech hot end that can move a lot of filmant very quickly then it's not really worth it because unless your willing to lose the auto Z offset and build marlin for the board or get the Nablue Kit that will upgraded the printer to killper then it really not worth it as to get the best out of rails you really have to redo the input shaping so that the old stuff is not throwing things off.

Easy and worthwhile upgrade to an Ender 3 V3 SE.
I have a lot of 3D printers, of which about half either came with or have been converted over to using linear rails. The remainder are still using POM wheels. Truthfully, with the exception of one printer, I have had no major headaches with print quality using POM wheels, at least until they get heavily worn. Once they wear, you start getting more binding on the X axis, powdery dust from the wheels degrading and spilling onto your print, and things generally just starting to loosen up and be less accurate. Some printers I own seem to be able to run POM wheels for years before they need replacement, others seem to burn through them way, way too fast. The Ender 3 V3 SE falls into the second category. Through a combination of being a faster than average printer and having a direct drive print head design that puts the extruder motor way out in front of everything else, you end up with non-linear pressure being put on the wheels, and faster than average wear. The linear rail with a good stiff metal mounting bracket should be able to solve this problem nicely (personally, this printer should have come with rails to begin with).Being from Creality themselves, this kit is very simple and perfectly made to install on the printer. The only really annoying part will likely be mounting the hot end and extruder assembly onto the rail mount. That said, if you check YT, Creality has a really good service tutorial up there on the replacement of the X axis pulley system, which shows exactly how to disassemble things and is essentially the exact same steps you'll need to follow to install things on the new mount included with this kit. For me, as I already have changed out the hot end and fan shroud and relocated the motor/extruder assembly horizontally, this is going to involve quite a bit more work and I'll likely have to design and print a new custom mount, but for a stock printer this shouldn't be at all a difficult upgrade to install. Also, just as a bit of advice, make sure you don't remove the blue retention pins from the rail until you are ready to install it and make SURE you don't remove the slide from the rail itself, or you may find yourself doing a "bearing hunt" and potentially be needing a new rail slide. My only criticism of this kit is that it should have come with the printer in the first place rather than being sold as an upgrade, but the price is quite reasonable and is personally well worth the upgrade just to avoid having to frequently replace the wheels.

Too loose with no adjustment
The media could not be loaded. Tolerances not sufficient. This is a downgrade, not an an upgrade. It results in mostly failed prints. I have to switch back to the wheels so I can adjust again with the eccentric screw. See video.
