The amount of clams was amazing and you could not have asked for better taste from a canned chowder.

Not exactly the same as what we had in Maine, but very good
After a resent trip to the Maine coast and some of the best clam chowder ever. I ordered this product. I was impressed. Because it is condensed I could make it a thick as desired, it was very good and close enough to what we had in Maine to satisfy my taste buds. A few spices added, salt pepper and celery salt to taste, but that was it. Lots of clams, but a little short on potatoes. Still very glad I purchased (6) cans. Looking forward to the next batch.
