An excellent nontoxic way to deal with gnats and fruit flies
I highly recommend these for your kitchen. I have lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, and snack throughout the day because I WFH.This light has done an excellent job of catching so many little flying insects, more than I knew I had!It also puts off a black white type color that creates a fun glow for my uranium glass, and white kitchen towels.I have not noticed any spiders caught by this, which makes me happy because it’s the little gnats, flies, and fruit flies that I want dealt with.Clean up and replacement is easy, and one lasts for a very long time for me. I bought two more after the first one. Placed one by an outer door that often got bugs, and the other in the bathroom, where I inexplicably would get small bugs around my drain during the warmer months. They work great, look good, easy to use, and a good value.I can recommend.

perfect for eliminating insects
This mosquito trap lamp has been a game changer! It’s compact, quiet, and very effective. I placed it in my bedroom and noticed a big difference within the first two nights — far fewer mosquito bites and buzzing around my ears. The UV light attracts the insects, and the fan pulls them in quickly. I also like that it’s safe to use around kids and pets since it doesn’t use chemicals or zappers. Cleaning is simple — just open the base and empty the container. It works best in dark, quiet rooms and when left on continuously. For the price, it’s definitely worth it. A must-have during mosquito season!

Work great!
I have 2 of these and love em. I have them near windows and house plants. Catches tons of little bugs. Very satisfying and easy to use. I keep refills on hand at all times. Not a bad price for the functionality. They make great night lights as well!

Effectively traps fruit flies
These have been working really well for fruit flies (and bonus, doubles as a night light). Very effective for fruit flies, haven't been as effective for flying insects like moths (I've found a few drawn to the light, but it hasn't caught any yet). Really easy to set up, feels very safe, I would say it's good value, I'll keep using these.

These really work!!!
I love these traps. Catches bugs that you didn't even know you had. I saw these really small bugs caught in the trap. You know, the ones that bite hard!!! Get these!! Affordable and the light is perfect. Cute design.

Effective, Superior Critter Catcher!
Compact size, but efficiently and effectively snags bugs. The refill lasts and the stickiness does its job and is superior at pest control. I purchase a second one for another room because of the humidity.

So helpful! Pesky flies!
These are great!! Within the first few days, it trapped and killed both fruit flies and pesky flies from my kids leaving doors open! Light is not bothersome, no weird smells, and can plugin anywhere! I will definitely get refills!

Hasn't caught any houseflies, but does catch gnats
So far, after three days, we are getting mixed results. This Safer home indoor fly trap is doing a good job of attracting and capturing gnats - so ya there! We live in the country, in the Southern United states, so anything that catches gnats is most welcome. However, even though we have plenty of houseflies to catch, it hasn't caught one housefly in 3 days. Our main issue this season is the house flies - we have livestock behind us and the flies are just extra prolific this year for some reason- so not super thrilled about the fact they are still happily buzzing around my kitchen after several days in use. The function "fly trap" is right there in the name of the machine, but it is not doing its job yet. There are more positives, however. It has absolutely no smell, the dead are hidden from view on the sticky trap card, as it faces the wall, it can be in use and you still have the other plug in the outlet to use, it is small and compact, and doesn't take up counter space. The sticky card seems to have enough stick - there are dead little gnats on it as proof. The only other thing of note is that this thing emits a VERY bright BLUE light all night - not great for the sleep hygiene if that is a concern. The price point for the device seems ok, but to me, the refills are spendy and overpriced. For me, this device gets a 3 star because it isn't doing what it says it will do - catch flies.
