User-friendly and reliable, with some limitations
Physically, this router has a relatively small profile, and unlike many other routers on the market the antenna were built-in. The lights along the front are pretty meaningless, and can be turned off (or on!) with the handy button on the front. The design is minimalist and looks good enough that most people won't feel like they need to hide it.Setup was pretty easy. Plug the router into the wall with the attached power cord, and your modem to the router with the attached ethernet cable to the port labeled "10G Internet". A QR code included in the box links you to the download page for the Tether app. After setting up an account in the app, the process to add your new router relatively quick, though it does require/encourage you to scan the QR code on the back of the router.Configuring the router is also pretty easy through the app, allowing normal configuration setting for 2.4 Ghz, 5 Ghz, and 6 GHz, as well as EasyMesh to connect with other mesh-compatible routers. There are also parental controls that are somewhat basic unless you subscribe to a premium package. If you're not looking for granular control, the options included will probably be fine.Signal strength is excellent, though the speeds for the 2.4 GHz network are a bit slower than I would like.Overall, this is a good router with some good features. With newer WiFi 7 features and a good physical design, this is a solid option for home use, even if it is a bit pricy.

Fast and more reliable than a 6 wifi router
Great, fast speed. Way better than the old 6 wifi router I had before.

Works as standalone or Mesh setup
This router was easy to setup following the quick install guide. The install is about the same if a first-time setup on replacing older equipment. Find a good central location to set up your WIFI router. Before plugging in the power to your router plug in the ethernet cable from your modem to the router with the modem powered off or unplugged. Next you power on the modem than power on the WIFI router. Wait for your modem and your WIFI router fully boot. While waiting I downloaded the app Tether on my phone. This is the app TP Link uses to complete the setup process. Once both modem and router finished booting, I opened the Tether app and connected to the router. I followed the onscreen instructions. The walkthrough made the setup very simple. I have a WIFI Printer on my network so it is easiest for me to set my network up as a mesh network. What I mean by that is my network name is the same name for all levels of connection to my router. Instead of network having XXX.2.4, XXX.5G, XXX.6G. My printer would only be able to connect to XXX.2.4. I have had issues printing from devices not on the same exact network XXX.2.4. I set it up like a mesh where all are the same XXX without the separation or speeds. All devices will connect to the best of their ability giving max speeds while all devices can print without having to change the network name.

The router for tomorrow
I don't have any devices that support Wi-Fi 7. YET. It's definitely in my near future, and this router is ready for the challenge. It has many features for advanced networking and firewalls. I really like the ability to set up not only my internal network for family, but I can provide a separate connection for guests to give them internet access without me worrying about them snooping around other parts of my network. There's also the option to turn an iOT network so your thermostat, Alexa, and other internet devices don't have access to your stuff, but they can access the internet to do their work for you.I recently had fiber internet installed in my home, and this router can handle the 2 Gb/s speeds. My internal network is currently only a 1 Gb/s network, but I have 1 device with a faster NIC. I plugged it in directly to the router and was getting the advertised speed from my ISP both down AND up!One feature I couldn't find and was surprised was the ability to have a cold standby option for a secondary internet connection. This feature is often available on routers in this price range, but I couldn't find it in the menus. Since fiber is brand new to my neighborhood, I expect some outages and have actually kept my cable subscription for a bit since I work from home and the internet is my lifeline. Not a huge issue to unplug one and plug-in another, but it would be nice if the router did this automatically and switched back to the faster connection when it was available again.Overall I'm happy with this router and it has most of the features I'm looking for and I'm ready for my future WiFi 7 devices and when I finally upgrade my internal wired network.

Excelent router
This is the perfect router. I could not believe all of the features that are packed into this thing. It's actually over kill and way more that what most people will typically need but it's good insurance that you will be future proofed and ready for the next generation of connectivity. It has 3 1Gb LAN ports, 1 Gb LAN port and 1 10 GB WAN port. I couldn't imagine what I would do with a 10Gb WAN connection. My provider can only go up to 1.3Gb but in the future when that goes up I'll be ready. It also has mesh networking and a load of next generation security features. I could carry on about all of the different options but then I will be here all day. If you care about being ready for the future and/or being protected then this is your go to investment. The price is steep but I work in IT and I can say that this is a good deal for how advanced it is.

Futuristic router that very need some work on compatibility and Wifi Stability...
Although the specs and appearance look perfect, the BE network has poor stability (or even works properly?). Both my S25U and Pixel9P cannot find the BE channel, which makes the "Wi-Fi 7" feature a complete joke on such an expensive router. It's been almost two years since TP-Link released its first Wi-Fi 7 router, but apparently, they still haven't fixed the BE/MLO stability issue on Wi-Fi 7 devices, which makes me sad.
