Great and handy reference guide
Great reference guide. Gives high low ranges, but also brief advice on what to give to patients.Would potentially be useful to describe bloods that are commonly used in combination but is great to describe each blood test. Would highly recommend. Especially when trying to interpret results.

Great tool!
This book has been a great tool to me this semester in nursing school. It is small and easy to take with you but includes valuable information on labs with nursing implications. You can't beat that! I would recommend this book to anyone who is in the process of nursing clinicals.

All in one place!
I just received this used book and I am liking it already. The diagnostic tests are listed in alphabetical order and have been easy to find so far.

It's ok. I am still searching for better one.
It does the minimum job. I am usually big fan of Pearson's publishing textbooks. This is a first time I am not 100% satisfied with their product. The plus:Great detail on explaining the lab test. Small size book - easily can bring with you to clinical. The minus:I wish the actual labs where alphabetized in the index not the full names of that lab/test. Sometimes all I have on my hands is abbreviation of the text (such Hbh or Anion CAP) and I do not know the EXACT "big" name or "decoding" for those just yet on my first semester. so in order to find info about those labs you have to know the PROPER LONG NAME for it or you will have hard time finding it.
