I’m really impressed with this stain! It delivers a bold, opaque colour from the outset, and as it fades (or is wiped away), it leaves a vibrant, purposeful finish that lasts for hours. It’s easy to apply, and the initial glossy finish is smooth and non-sticky. As it wears down, it feels like my natural lips, which is really nice. I like to apply lip balm over the stain once the gloss is wiped off, and it doesn’t seem to impact its staying power. It strikes the perfect balance between striking colour and comfortable wear, making it my go-to for a long-lasting, flawless look. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a statement lip that lasts!

This was my first time trying a lip stain, and since it was sold out everywhere locally, I assumed it had to be good, and it is! The stain lasts a really long time, which is perfect if you want something that stays put. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the colour is a bit brighter than I expected, and the gloss is very glossy…. a little too much for my taste. But overall, it’s a great, long lasting product.

Have Mauve & Moist and Hydra Honey. Fab as a gloss & also when wiped off. I'll alternate between gloss & stain because the stain is more subtle but it does stay for the whole evening. Only need to top up if you want the gloss. If I want the stain for going out, I will leave as a gloss for about 10 minutes as you get a better stain. Much better than the more expensive stains. Will definitely buy more colours.

I dont usually wear lipstick as struggle finding a shade I like and one that doesn't make my lips feel sticky or dry. This is amazing. I put it on and then do the rest of my makeup before wiping it off. It leaves a good colour stain on the lips and it doesn't transfer, my lips feel moisturised and it stays on non matter how many cups of tea I drink. I have just bought some other colours to try.

Beautiful as a vampy gloss. But utterly underwhelming as a stain. Looks like vapor as a stain on ALL skintones. Total disappointment. But again, the gloss is lovely

The lip oil is very hydrating, glossy and shiny and the shade range is stunning. I ordered the shade hydra honey although I think the shade mocha we met would’ve suited my brown skin tone more but nevertheless, very good product.

Well, this NYX lipgloss was a complete disappointment. The shade was pretty when worn, but did not stain the lips, as I was led to believe. Not impressed.

Thick and glossy with a high level of pigmentation (eg easy transfer to teeth if you’re not careful!) - like other people, I was a little confused by the branding “serum” when I thought it was supposed to be a “stain” - so not entirely sure what’s happened there, but indeed, the serum IS also the stain. Apply the gloss as per usual (I felt it was a bit of an unnatural beige colour - hence the four stars) and just leave it. Eventually after quite some time, it goes and then you’re left with a very nice stain which is more pinky. I have very very pale lips so this is just what I need. I think I’m going to order a slightly darker colour (I’m warm/pale skin naturally) but I get the impression all of these stains eventually settle to a pinky tone, so be aware of that.
