Just what I wanted! This is a firm waterproofed canvas material that's stiff enough to stand up by itself totally empty, yet flexible enough to be compacted flat as well. It is big enough to hold 2-3 large loads of laundry-yes, 2 thick, king sized blankets/comforters will fit in this (I squish my laundry, you may have different results if you fold your dirty laundry &/or don't squish). I especially like that I can pop this into the wash & dryer right with my laundry so I'm no longer putting clean laundry in a dirty container (yes, I'm a bit of a germaphobe). My DH is terrible about closing the shower curtain all the way so he often gets water all over the floor. Since I have this in the bathroom, I appreciate the waterproof aspect so I don't have to haul heavy, wet, & moldy/musty clothes to the laundromat on wash day.
