This is by far the best shoulder neck red light therapy cape! I previously purchased and returned the other brand because it was pure garbage. I've had six months of ongoing all day debilitating shoulder/neck/head pain with loss of hearing. This gem has helped immensely to slowly but surely relax those muscles and cut the pain in half. I wear red light goggles to protect my eyes. Another benefit, after a month of daily twenty minute sessions is a very welcome benefit of thickening my crinkled skin ( 77 years old) on the inside of my upper arms plus my skin on the shoulders, upper back and neck is thicker. This Comfy was definitely a worthwhile investment in my health!

This heats up nicely and has four different red light modes which is great. But I am going to agree with others that the plastic that covers up the red lights is very stiff and this doesn't mold to your body well. It is, in fact, annoying.Once I fully decide to keep it and see if it loosens up at all with usage, I might actually cut off the plastic. I bought another brand prior to this one that I returned because it smelled so bad. It did not have the plastic overlay so that makes me believe it isn't really needed. I do realize that this will make it harder to clean though.All this said, it is working well, doesn't smell bad like my previous one, and seems well made.Update: I did finally take the plastic protective covering off of the infrared wrap. It was too stiff to effectively use and because it was plastic it stuck to my skin and got kind of gross. It works just great without it on there. I realize it will be nearly impossible to clean without the plastic there to wipe down, but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make for the item to work better for me.

I’m so Amazed I bought a couple more and Gave them as Gifts to friends that were suffering in Pain lije Myself . This New technology is Truly a Game Changer and This Company Makes Products that are of Excellent Quality. Yes I Have and Would Buy Again . And Again, and Again.

The first one I got half the lights blew out I contacted the seller and they sent me out a brand new one. I can’t complain.

Read the instructions if you put it on a high setting I believe it only lets you use it for 20 minutes and at times out My old infrared pad didn't have a timer caution over using it on the high setting until you figure it out I used it on the high setting three times in succession and to my surprise slightly blistered the skin around my upper shoulders neck area nothing serious when all else fails read the instructions very functional great value for the money really does help with the pain relief The old ones in the bedroom the new ones in the living room couldn't live without it

Good - the heat generated and multiple heat settings and auto shut-off to prevent skin damage.Not good - because of the plastic covering it's quite stiff, thus sticks out over my shoulders instead of confirming to them. Also, doesn't conform well to neck.I used it sitting in a chair. When I went to remove it, it was stuck to my back & I had a heck of a time getting it to unstick.I am going to return this and hopefully find something that can more readily conform to my neck & shoulder area.

I have a couple of other red light therapy devices. I like the shape of this one. It is a good size and shape for me. Red light therapy is amazing and helps me with a lot of aches and pains. I didn't like the clear plastic lining on this pad. It makes it heavy and stiffer. I finally cut the lining off and I like it much better not.

I was surprised by the results. I use it morning and night, 20 minutes each (goes off automatically). I noticed a difference after a couple weeks. My chiropractor agreed this as a great supplement to treatment through him. My pain was between shoulder blades and I sat up against the back of chair or laid in bed with it so it would be as close to possible to my back. I highly recommend it.
