Excellent product. It fits great and it’s super high-quality. I would highly recommend this to anyone else considering it.

Overall I like the vest, but it takes a bit to get used to the compression required to prevent “shoulder slap” when running/jumping. I think this has to do with the limited adjustability in the chest. I’m a fairly average build (5’ 10”, 190, 42” chest) and with the cummerbund across your diaphragm the tension required to keep the vest snug makes it hard to breathe during vigorous exercise. Having chest compression straps would help immensely to snug it up. Quality feels and looks great, lots of pockets, easy to get plates in and out. Plate holding system also feels top notch.

Great quality, straps are perfectly fit and easy. Was a bit on the pricey side, but Amazon alerted me the price drop and I bought it for my Husband. Now both my teenage boys use it as well.

I recently picked up the TacTec weight vest with the hope of enhancing my workouts without the discomfort of feeling weighed down like I’m wrapped in sandbags. It fits snugly and is surprisingly breathable, thanks to the advanced mesh padding. Even when loaded with plates, it remains manageable. However, inserting and removing the plates can feel a bit like trying to solve a Rubik's Cube under pressure.On the bright side, it holds up well during tough outdoor sessions. It's sweat-proof, durable, and has a stylish tactical appearance, which I find appealing. Overall, it's a solid purchase if you enjoy challenging yourself in your fitness routine.

This 5.11 Tactical training vest is exactly what I would expect from 5.11 as far as quality and design. It fits my Rogue plates perfectly (5.75lb plates) and is extremely well made. The stitching is perfect and every detail is fantastic. The color looks great and there is a ton of velcro for one (or maybe a few) of my morale patches from my collection. The molle made it easy to put a flip down phone holder on the front (made for an rifle plate carrier) so I have my phone with my while working out and don't have to have it in my pocket or leave it on the counter in the garage.I am super happy with this training vest. It's extremely well made, really sharp looking compared to some of the cheaper options out there and is exactly the 5.11 quality I was hoping to find. I would absolutely recommend this workout plate carrier!

This rucking vest is super high quality. There is velcro everywhere to make this a customized fit. There are a couple of different storage pockets which are also nice. When you are carrying weights, you definitely need a strong durable material, and this fits the bill. The size is great for me, and it can also fit my wife. I will have to experiment more with what different sized weights will fit in it, but I love it so far.

This appears to be a nice, well-made vest. It's heavy duty and comfortable. I admit right up front, I have no experience with weighted things, other than ankle weights. My doc suggested I add some weight when I'm exercising, so I ordered this. I had no idea it didn't come with any weights. That's probably on me but I didn't see it mentioned anywhere. For a newbie who's not worked with weighted garments, maybe it should be mentioned? It has padded shoulder straps and I'm guessing that would make wearing the weights more comfortable. It does fit both me and my husband, - who apparently knew it wouldn't have wights- so it is adjustable for several fits. It does seem expensive compared to other offerings.

5.11 Makes great gear and most of the time it is worth the price. As nice of quality as this vest is, it isn't anything special in terms of materials or construction. There are many off brands that have the same quality construction and material for much less. Fit is just as good as any similar vest, again nothing special here.
