It's paper, you can write on it, and it lasts your kids loose leaf because It has really strong reinforcements by the holes.This is a must have product if your kids are in elementary school. And you want them to actually keep their notes in their loose leaf.

Thick paper. Very good plastic around holes that fit 3 ring binder. Have not torn a single one. Paper doesn’t bleed through.
