Smell's Amazing!
This is the best essential oil I have found to date. It smells amazing. Smells like they stuck the actual fruit in the bottle. I will continue to purchase from this company.

Nice smell of cedar.
I bought this as a add on to my organic bug spray. As nice smell of cedar to me, but bugs hate it. Being organic, I can spray around the inside of my apt. To keep moths and silverfish away. Love it so far.

STRONG STUFF! Don't use undiluted on skin
Okay, I am NOT one to claim 2b uber knowledgeable about oils, essential or otherwise & thus, unsure what I should or could report on with this product? Took pics of the bottle front and back as well as on a white mare windowsill with a couple drops of it 2C color.I bought for use as a facial antiseptic (diluted) for a patch on my chin prone to acne AND as I've heard can be used to ease Fibromayalgia pain by rubbing a few undiluted drops on the underside of feet.As for the acne treatment: even diluted 50/50 with sterile water .... used after a thorough face cleaning w/my Foreo ..... ohhhhhhh wowsa! Burned, burned, burned! I tried to stop the burning with baking soda, milk, rinsing continuously w/water, ice cubes ... b4 I pulled out a can of Solarcaine Sunburn spray (w/Lidocaine). Yeah .... personally, I don't see me using for that purpose again. Or even attempting with further dilutions bcuz having come across another product "Bye Bye Blemish", THAT problem is 100% solved. As far as the undiluted use on the bottoms of my feet? Okay, well, didnt burn at all. Did it provide me any pain relief? After 7 nights of faithful use of 4 drops and massaged in really well, followed by some coconut oil, I can't say it did anything really? Or nothing I was able to notice? Dried out my skin on my feet pretty well despite be aware this could happen & using coconut oil & socks. Now, THAT being said .... I had an idea: my youngest son (21yrs old now) has ALWAYS had bouts of issues with Athletes feet .... since he was an INFANT b4 wearing socks/shoes even? (He does have Aspergers/Autism which I believe 2b somehow related ... its "said" there is a corollation btwn some.on the spectrum & high yeast/fungal colonization?) & SO, I talked him into letting me use gloves to massage in a few drops of this oil all over his feet for a few nites, right?WELL! To both of our immense surprise, the few cracks at the base of his toes on the undersides (which he usually gets a few times a year since infancy due to his athletes feet) cleared up IMMEDIATELY after even 1st use? By day three? Completely closed and after a week? Not a sign of there even having been an open crack!! Thats 3 times faster than the several kinds of OTC creams we have for him to use!Meaning: altho I purchased for other purposes, I believe we have found an answer/cure to my sons chronic athletes foot problems that will no longer require pharmeuceutical medicated products! Yayyy! Always prefer natureopathic remedies where available! SCORE!I dunno what else I could report on about this oil? As a former microbiologist of 30yrs, altho I found practical for a fungal infection on his feet, dunno where else could be used? I CERTAINLY wouldn't recommend (even diluted) for use as a gyno remedy for a yeast infection (ouch! The thought makes me pucker after feeling that burn on my chin, lol). Its STRONG thats fer darn sure! I HAVE researched ingesting VERY DILUTED Oregano oil for GI yeast overgrowth, but unsure if this brand or type would be appropriate for use as such? Bottle label doesn't say can be ingested? Doesn't say it cannot be ingested either? Again, I'm not knowledgeable on use of oils, so unsure if ingestion is appropriate only according to TYPE of oil & if "Essential" oil (which this product is) would preclude use via ingestion or not? User please research if that is what you intend to use this for as I cannot speak on that use?Hope what little info I provided is of SOME use to anybody?

Soothing Essential Oil for Skin & Scalp Conditions
Cedarwood is a fantastic, lovely smelling essential oil in general, and this organic Cedarwood Atlas is no exception. I also have Cedrus deodora from Plant Guru which smells similar and has some overlapping properties and uses. The scent is soft, warm, slightly woody and balsamic. It smells very pleasant and other essential oils can often overpower this more subtle scent.Cedarwood is an evergreen tree that grows over 100 feet. The cedar species Cedrus Atlantica is native to the Atlas Mountains of North Africa. The wood chips and shavings are usually steam distilled to produce the essential oil. The essential oil is slightly viscous and a pale yellow color. Here are the therapeutic properties: Anti-inflammatory, antiseborrheic, antiseptic, depurative, pectoral, regenerative, restorative, tonic. Here are the therapeutic uses: Chest infections, catarrh, congestion, acne, skin problems, scalp disorders, cellulite, anxiety, stress, tension, physical exhaustion, detoxifying.I find myself using Cedarwood essential oil a lot in various roll-on blends like my Scar Fade Blend. Because of it's regenerative, nourishing qualities, it's great for healing skin conditions such as scars, dry skin, eczema, dandruff, infections, etc. I also added this oil to my Hair Loss Blend, to help heal the scalp and slow the loss of hair from any number of reasons.Because of cedarwood's uplifting and mood boosting aroma, it's a nice oil to use on the face. It blends well with a lot of other oils of all different types: citrus, floral, woody, camphorous, medicinal, sweet, etc. It's really an accommodating essential oil.Plant Therapy is a great company, and I don't believe I've ever been disappointed by any of the essential oils so far. They're reliable, and if you're making your own DIY skincare and bodycare products, I believe this is one of the best ones to have in your arsenal. Don't forget about the other types of cedarwood as well.. they're all pleasant and they're all effective in different ways. I like the fact that this Cedarwood atlas is organic, and for such a small price difference, I'd recommend the organic one instead of the regular essential oil.UPDATE: I'm having problems with the dropper on this bottle, even though it is still full of E.O. and is always tightly capped. It takes sooo long for anything to come out that when I turn the bottle upside down, I just stop waiting after a while. This is a problem I've seen now with a few of my bottles from Plant Therapy and I don't know how to remedy the situation. But it's frustrating that I can't use these oils and wish they were in dropper bottles instead.
