My 41 inch board fit in with room to spare, I could easily get another board in with it. Instead I think I will cut some padding and add it to the inside for added protection for my board. It has a nice outside zipper compartment that can hold a lot of stuff, wet suit, towel, fins you name it. I love that both the board compartment and the outer compartment have a draining area where water and sand can escape. Also inside the outer storage compartment is a small zipper compartment for maybe a wallet or something. You can use the handle on the side to carry it or use the backpack like straps, nice. Wasn't sure if I was going to like the orange color, I was looking for a blue to match my board but I like the orange. If this lasts for only a year it would still be worth the money (hope it lasts longer). Very pleased with my purchase. The bag took a beating throughout the week between checking it in at the airlines and bringing it out on our boat. Despite this, it held up well and was perfect for what our needs were. We liked the flexibility of using either the side handle or the back straps to carry. Also liked the roomy front pocket.
