Just received and assembled this ladder.PRO: Assembly was generally easy and quick. I tested the ladder up to the third step and it felt sturdy, and I found the handrails gave me confidence in climbing and allowed an almost stair-like angle to ascend the ladder. I like the dimensions of the steps, which make it much easier to navigate with my damaged knees. My vinyl floor can add slip to furniture, but this ladder's feet barely budged as I climbed. I'm confident that I will find this ladder more useful and safer than a standard ladder.Yes, it' heavier than a standard aluminum ladder, but I was able to carry it, and in spaces where I couldn't I "walked" it along on its legs. It's weight suggests that this ladder is sturdy and has good load bearing.CON: The insets on the instructions could have been a little larger (what to use to attach the tool ledge and ladder rails), but still not really difficult to follow.

At age 77 I feel much more stable on the wide steps and they do NOT get smaller as you go up. That's a huge ++. Side handles are a breeze to attach. There is a top handle also for more stability. Tool tray is very handy and top step locks ladder open. Easy snap to release and easy to close by pushing it . Wish it was a little lighter but will take the sturdiness over the weight anytime. 4 legs have flared rubber feet for extra stability BUT keep some Mr Clean pads handy because they make beautiful streaks on the painted walls when you forget about those feet. DUH!Easy to fold straight up and lean against wall in garage. Highly recommended.

This is the best small ladder I have EVER purchased. It works like a dream. Easy to open/close. Safe to get up and down the steps. They are wide and coated. No slipping. I use it all the time. If you need a little "step up" this is the ladder for you. It will not disappoint. It is sturdy. The value is there.

Very nice ladder with good steps. The flat back lets me climb up facing our shelves rather than beside them on a standard ladder. With our standard ladder I had to twist to reach things on our shelve and then try to get back down. This design is so much safer with the handrails for better balance and wider steps for stability. The only thing I would change is somehow having the hand rails fold in for flatter storage when not in use.

This 4 step ladder is really stable, and much better than a step stool. 4 steps are just about perfect for most chores.My husband just had me order a5 step for him, as he does a lot of outdoor chores, where the 5 step would be more suitable. Plus the 5 step has a tool platform.

Very sturdy ladder and safe. If handy, can put together fairly easily. Instructions are awful, should have English-speaking person describe what goes where and bigger diagrams (had to use magnifying glass to see). Heavy but I can handle and I'm a 78-year-old woman.

I live in a semi rural area, so shopping places are a little limited. Anyway this was exactly what we were looking for. this is a very substantial step ladder. I love the handles on the sides and the flip down tray ,very convenient . Although this ladder is a little heavy it's just enough weight to be sturdy. opens easily and I managed to get it hung hon a peg board. Perfect fit for our needs I would recommend this to any one needing something more that a two stepper. The handles on the side are helpful especially for any seniors.

Study ladder, I feel very safe using it :) directions were a little hard to read/fine print and to follow, but I was able to it. Had a hard time putting the top section on as the tubular metal parts were slightly off so I had to really force it together, but that’s all. It’s a little heavier to carry than I’d like, but it’s a great solid ladder. Great price on Amazon too.
