Great bag, but bad zipper
This is a great bag that really does it's job and looks nice. It fits my Ninja 300 perfectly. It has a lot of room, and the magnets are super strong. The downside: The right side zipper on mine broke the 3rd time I zipped it closed. It was only the first time I took it out on the bike. I continued with a long group ride without any problems, but it is something worth considering. It's highly possible that I just received a bad sample. All in all, I recommend the bag. I would just double check that your zippers are good to go before giving it a go on the road. I ended up returning mine, but would buy again.

Great tank bag
I was really waffling back and forth between this bag and the Joe Rocket Manta XL bag. To be honest, I went with this because it's just a tad bigger. And it seems to flow really well with the curves on my 1st gen 2001 Suzuki SV650. For a 19L bag, it's pretty sleek. It's funny because I tried various other bags that were 11L and 14L and 20L and they all looked boxy. In the end, I am glad I went with the Rapid Transit Recon 19.The magnets are very strong. I actually put a liner underneath to prevent scratches on the tank and do not have a problem with the magnets sticking through the liner. This sucker is not coming off without decent force.I like the plethora of pockets. The two side pockets and the front pocket are pretty thin. Not sure what I will put in them... But at least they are there. Inside you have the map pocket which I haven't really used yet. I did put my phone in it once, but it was kinda flopping all over the place, so I put the phone back in the phone pocket. This fits my HTC evo 4g LTE. It's pretty snug but at least it fits. And I can still use the touchpad through the plastic. I only do this at red lights or pulled over. Obviously have to take off my gloves. There are also a couple of pockets right on top which can hold some change or money. I actually put my garage door opener in there which is great because I can reach in without unzipping the entire thing and push the button. There is also a key chain holder but I don't' really use this.I typically ride with my dark smoke visor, so I keep the clear visor inside a bag which I then put at the front of the bag. This holds up surprisingly well. I can fit my shoes in there, but usually I just put them in my top case. To be honest, I don't put a lot in the bag. Right now it has my phone charger and some spare earplugs. But I will put my frogtoggs gear in there if necessary.I love this bag and the only bad thing is that I took so long to buy it. I just wish it was available through prime!

Good bag, weak magnets
Very roomy, lots of pockets, but the magnets are TOO weak. So if Rapid Transit is reading this, you need to increase the size of the magnet as I had to use extra ones from another tank bag just so this wouldn't slide off when I parked it on its kickstand. Using the straps is not an option, especially when you're in a hurry. In fact, I tossed those out the second I got the bag. It also needs a small handle at the top like my old tank bag had for when I take the bag with me into restaurants, etc.It has lots and lots and lots of pockets with cute little symbols on them, including the one for currency, mp3 player, keys, map, etc. As one biker said to me when checking it out, "So, it basically tells anyone snooping in your tank bag where to find what's valuable in the shortest amount of time." And that is the problem. If you go inside to have lunch somewhere, there's no handle to take the bag with you, and if a thief happens upon your bike and the bike is not in plain sight, they can quickly open it up and there are symbols literally telling the thief where the good stuff is.Sadly, there aren't a lot of tank bags that are roomy like this one. So for the price and size, it's good. It would be GREAT if it had stronger magnets and a small handle at the top. And get rid of those symbols as most bikers can figure out where to put there stuff.I do like that the map pocket has a see-through window for glancing down and quickly checking where you are going. I also like the pocket for an MP3 player and other little extras such as a waterproof cover you can pull out from a hidden compartment at the top and fold it over your tank bag in case it starts raining. I put my extra magnet in that pocket and under the waterproof cover as well as another magnet at the bottom. Again, this thing needs more powerful magnets.

It seems to be made to last forever!
This tank bag is the perfect size for my Kawasaki Ninja ZX-1400! I thought it wouldn't fit on a sports bike, as it's bigger than most tank bags. But, the magnetic strips fit just right on the metal part of the tank without overlapping on the fiberglass portion of the tank. This bag is also big enough to place a gallon of milk, a small bag of frozen vegetables, and a few bags of snacks, completely zipped inside. I mainly used it to put my combat boots and part of my uniform inside while going back and forth to Ft. Knox, KY, Ft. Jackson, SC, Ft. McCoy, WI, etc. I had purchased this same bag about 15 yrs ago, used it for well over 60k, so it seems to be made to last forever. The reason for the re-purchase after 15 yrs is because I accidentally left the bag outside over the winter and forgot to store it with the bike, so the squirrels used it to store their belongings, too :)Oh, I forgot to mention...the clear cargo pouch on the top-front of the bag (which I use for my cell phone) is bigger on this model than it was on the previous model so now I can actually zip the pouch completely with my new cell phone. The other bag's cargo pouch was a bit too small for the newer cell phones.I hope this review helps!
