Ranking this item as a 4 plus. Wide opening. Cuts well on thick nails. Works as advertised. Only drawback is for a senior with issues regarding hand pressure; this clipper would be better if the handle were slightly longer. Also may pose a problem for someone who has difficulty sliding the lock button. Otherwise, grip is easy and comfortable. Overall, this clipper is very good and I would absolutely recommend it.

I cannot say enough good things about these clippers. They are very high-quality and heavy duty and very sharp. I highly recommend them the ease of the grip and the ease of the cutting is fantastic.

These particular clippers are angled in just the right way so you're able to apply pressure with the arms of the clipper to get the clip you need., nice quality and seem to function well and even have a lock on the clippers for storage in the case provided. The clippers seem to be sharp and not a lot of pressure need to clip trough the thickness of the nail.

This clipper is pretty cool, but, I purchased it to trim my big toe nail and it is not strong enough to do the job.

Caution these are strong and sharp. They do a fantastic job.
