I cook with fresh garlic quite often and this little tool is the best. It's easy to use as you just set the garlic on a cutting board and roll the press back and forth and to get the size of minced garlic you want. So much better than a garlic press as most of the garlic stays on the board, and if there's a bit still in the mesh you have a little stainless scraper to get that off. No need to touch, so no garlic smell on your hands. Comfortable handle. Favorite thing is cleanup is easy, just rinse and it's clean. No more flipping components around and digging pieces of garlic out of the corners of a traditional garlic press.

Nice, high-quality tool to make a small chore easier. The sleeve to help pull the paper off is an added bonus. It does take a little push to press the garlic through, but no problem. Still much easier and better than mincing with the knife.

For years I've used the traditional two handled garlic press. Cleanup was miserable - soaking and using a toothpick on the press and screen. I was cautiously optimistic with this product. Rubber sleeve was a fail. It took one layer off. After a couple more attempts, I decided it's faster to just peel it off. Product was awesome. Slow smash and presto! Very easy. Scrapped off minced garlic with included utensil. Now for the cleanup...ran it under water and used a sponge. I was hesitant using sponge because I thought the product would be like a cheese grater. It's not, both sides are smooth and not sharp. Water wasn't enough to get all the holes clean. I used my trusty toothpick on 3 holes. Not a big deal. I will now give away my old garlic press. Not a gimmick. Easy to use and easy to clean.

I ordered this rocking garlic press because I wanted a faster method of mincing large amounts of garlic at one time. I already have a traditional two handle garlic mashing press.This one works okay. The set seems like a good deal for $10. It's convenient for large amounts, but whole cloves can squeeze out the sides if they aren't centered when you apply downward force. I'm sure my technique will improve over time, as I've only just started using this type of press.I think I like the finer consistency of the garlic that comes out of my traditional garlic press better than what I get from this rocking style press. Still, for larger amounts, this rocking press is faster.

We go through a lot of garlic in our house, and have tried a lot of garlic presses over the years. This is the easiest to use, easiest to clean, and it produces very consistent pieces. My husband said that whether he used it in sauce or garlic butter, the consistency was almost creamy, and it blends very well. The garlic rocker Also comes with a garlic peeler, a slim silicone tube which makes it easy to remove the skin without a knife, or mess., and a small cleaning tool.The only downside is that it takes up a bit more room in our (kitchen) gadget drawer, but I personally think it is well worth it. Quicker, easier, better results = hard to beat combination.
