I didn't bind the drones other the dji flying app, I didn't even know about binding the drone with an app.

Extremely durable. Very fun.
I’m here because this drone, my mini 2 se, got caught in a tree about 100” up. As i write this it is blinking like a star in the sky. So I’m looking for a new drone. In the meantime, i can tell you the mini 2 se is awesome. It’s incredible. Its incredibly easy and fun to fly. The camera is pretty good. Not awesome but pretty good. Range is decent. Usually i try to push the range and end up losing connection. I just wait a minute and it will start to return home automatically and reconnect and then i keep flying. This drone has taken a serious beating. I have crashed it over 10 times. It has been fully submerged in water. Once i got it stuck on the side of a 3 story apartment and had to get creative to get it down. It ended up falling and landing on small rocks from the 3 rd story. It still worked. I never changed the propellers. The only thing i think suffered is the battery from the water. After the water it seemed to drain about twice as fast. My camera also leaned to one side occasionally. This drone is incredibly strong. I can’t believe it lasted. Now it’s in a tree and it’s going to stay there because it’s simply too high. But if i got it down i know it would still fly. The only thing i am interested in upgrading is the camera. A 4k drone makes sense. It’s all about the video. Well not actually because i will fly without recording. It’s fun.

Buyer beware. Works well until it doesn't.
This worked well for a long time. Then, one day it just fell out of the sky. 75% battery. I'd like to recommend this product, but this is the third occurrence of something like this with folks I know flying DJI products. One of the drones survived, 2 did not. Buyer beware. Works great until it doesn't.

DJI Mini SE appears not compatible with iPhone16.
Bought the DJI Mini SE a couple of years ago and used my iPhone 13 to control. Worked very well until I upgraded to iPhone 16. Does NOT work with iPhone 16. Tech support was very responsive but could not offer solution and stated that their research revealed that iPhone 16 NOT compatible with this drone even buying the DJI branded usb-c that the 16 uses instead of the lightning connector.
