This is a fantastic honey. The ingredients are pretty simple: honey and chipotles. Yea, that’s it. I’d put the spice level at low to medium, but I eat a lot of spicy food. You can taste the smokey, spicy chipotles along with the delicious, smooth, gooey honey. This is a grown up treat that’s great with chicken or ribs, or drizzled on hot brie for an upscale treat.This is a grownup foodie treat that everyone loves, as long as you like a little heat.I read that some reviewers got a jar of honey that was crystalized. Mine was in perfect spoon-able, drippy perfect condition.

Honey with a little vanilla flavoring to it. Not anything super distinct about the honey other than the vanilla. Tastes good, but not sure the value is there - other than the word artisan.

The Cloister Honey is smooth. As far as we can tell, it tastes like pure honey. While there was a strand of vanilla in the glass bottle, my family and I couldn't detect its flavor in the honey. We will likely use it for something else later. We enjoy this honey and use it in our yogurt, or oatmeal, to make honey drinks, or eat it straight off a spoon.

Overall, I really like this honey. It comes in a glass bottle but was packed exceptionally well to protect it. The bottle is an atypical shape, especially for honey - thin and tall, and with the branding and the whole vanilla bean in the bottle, it looks quite premium. Beyond that, the honey tastes marvelous. It has a really lovely hint of vanilla. Very happy with it!
