Easy to work and very efficiently shields a high amount of heat.
The media could not be loaded. Bought a set of aftermarket headers for my Jeep and there is no heatshield for them, so I decided try making them with this aluminum sheet, it was easy to work and cut, a small hammer helped me on the turns. It is maleable enough to easily work on it but rigid enough to stay in place.The most important detail is that after running the engine for 30 minutes the temperature on the aluminum was about 120 F while under the manifold on the uncover section it was about 360 F. Great product!!!

Easy to Fabricate With
Cuts and bends easily but holds its shape well. Makes a great replacement for manifold and exhaust heat shields. Make sure to leave a 1/4" or larger gap from manifolds and turbos or it can burn through.

Perfect material for a heat shield
The dimpled material is able to bend and stay straight. The metal zip ties are about 40" long. Able to cut and bend the material into shape.
