I've Tried a Few, and Like These the Most
Ever since my feet have started giving me pain, I've been trying different types/brands of insoles. Maybe it's plantar fasciitis, or maybe I'm just getting old. Either way, insoles seem to help a bit.I've tried four different sets so far, and so far, these are my favorites. Interestingly, there seems to be a direct correlation between the price of the insoles I have tired, and the perceived benefit they provide me. I would like to tell you that this scientifically proves that the more you pay for arch support insoles, the better they are, but that would be a lie. Maybe the cheaper ones are lousy, or maybe I am psychologically predisposed to prefer stuff that costs more.In reality, something like insoles is going to involve a lot of personally preference. I think these take up a little more space in my shoes, and give me a touch more arch support than the others I have tried.

Perfect snug fit
It's not instantly comfortable but it gets better when you break it in on a walk and it does fit the shoe perfectly. It's a high arch, which is entirely necessary. There's also no question that it's firm, which speaks well for durability. I will switch off between this and another pair to get used to it.

Nice but not the highest arch,
These are nice and helpful to put in athletic shoes or other standard type shoes (no heels and will not fit most styles of women’s dress shoes — except penny loafers, etc). The arch isn’t that high compared to others I’ve had and therefore don’t require much getting used to, which is a plus if you’re looking for load and go, but a minus if you need a very high arch. They fit into my 11.5 shoes ok but I wish I would have sized up and trimmed them to fit better. They do help with my plantar fasciitis.

Work well for my feet - good arch support
One thing I have learned while wearing different brands of insoles (to stave off plantar fasciitis), is that the comfort of different brands is very subjective and very much related to your actual foot. What is good for one may not be for another and vice versa. With that said, I was very happy with the Valsole insoles. They had a decent padding, and the position of the arch was just right for my size 10 feet. The web site does not have a description of the arch height, but I measured it at 1 &3/8”. That is a good height for my foot and a little higher than you find in most insoles..The cushioning in the seal area was good and you could definitely feel the benefit from it..These may not work for everybody based on your foot shape, but they work well for me. These are definitely among the more comfortable insoles I have tried to date.

Worth the money
When it comes to your feet, don't skimp. Although there are far more expensive inserts than these, there are also far less expensive inserts. I have tried several types, and these are by far my favorite. They fit my shoes well (and brought them back to life; I wear out shoes quickly), they provide better support than other cheaper sets, and they have given me noticeable support. I have plantar fascitis, arthritis, and torn plantar fascia. I still have heel pain after rest due to the tear, but these inserts make working tolerable while I wait to see my surgeon. As mentioned, I am hard on shoes and so far these are holding up. I had a pair of inserts once from a very expensive well-known brand that didn't last 5 days without tearing and needed to be replaced. I'm impressed by these inserts!

Nice orthotics
I have been having heel problems where the tendon attaches to my heel. The overall construction of the insole is multiple layers with a medium-high arch similar to many quality aftermarket insoles. The difference with this one is that there is more soft foam in the heel part. This additional comfort in the heel area has been really nice to alleviate and help my heel feel and heal better.

Stiff along 2/3 of the sole, NOT the whole sole
My husband's podiatrist recommended he get stiff-soled shoes or stiff orthotics to prevent his feet from bending while he walks, because he has a terribly inflamed spot from bending while bearing weight. These sounded like good options, but in reality they only prevent 2/3 of his foot from bending - the toe box still flexes fully, so they aren't helping him. They're good quality, just not as described, and not what he needs.
