Once everything was laid out, the kids dove right in with serious construction vibes. They carefully arranged walls, piped frosting mortar (with varying degrees of accuracy 😂), and added gumdrops like they were designing candy mansions.I was pleased that all of our pieces were intact and the candies were edible and not rock hard.It was hilarious watching them taste-test half their supplies mid-build—gumdrops mysteriously disappearing, frosting swipes turning into finger-licking fun, and more than one roof tile getting eaten before it could be attached. Despite the snacking, their creativity really shone through: crooked chimneys, gummy pathways, and jellybean skylights galore!The whole activity felt like a perfect mix of craft, chaos, and sugar rush. It was such a special moment to share while they were visiting, and the laughter still echoes in my kitchen. Definitely thinking we need to make this quirky tradition a regular thing!

My daughter entered a contest where you decorate a house as a log cabin for Little House on the prairie. We decided a gingerbread house would be just the thing to use for the contest. This was easy to do and it looked amazing when she got done. This would be great for Christmas as well as it was originally intended. Comes with everything you need and all the pieces were intact with nothing broken. Good product and I would buy it again.

I bought 5 of these over the Christmas break so my nephews and nieces can build gingerbread houses. One box was completely unusable with lots of broken pieces. The second box had only one broken piece which happened to be the roof. We managed to glue the roof back together with frosting so that was salvageable. Only three out of the five had all pieces intact. I won't give it a lower score than 4 star because they do look beautiful and as depicted by the pictures shown once construction is completed, but man was I pissed two of the boxes came with broken pieces.

This product was not great quality - it was expensive and small it was not worth the price.

So much fun! Especially like the plastic tray as makes it so much easier to build and sturdier when decorating it. Came with everything we needed inclusing icing whch was in a very easy to use piping bag as well as sprinkles to add finer details. Gingerbread itself was strong and also tasted delicious.

While the product is a fine, pre made, gingerbread kit, it is NOT "large". Sure, when we shop for t-shirts the label S,M,L,XL provides some perspective regarding the expected fit of the shirt. Unfortunately, using the same guidelines doesn't apply to gingerbread kits, apparently. Again, no issue with the quality of the product, however I was seeking AND expecting an oversized dollhouse instead of a large miniature dollhouse.
