Sewing Edge: Reusable Vinyl Stops for Your Machine

Thought these were bit expensive but they are great. As I hadn't used sewing machine in years I was having problems keeping correct seam allowance on my machine marked in cm when I needed 1/4 inch. Used a ruler carefully putting needle down by hand to correct measurement (MACHINE OFF) and placed purple strip. It was easy to take off and reapply and the seam sits up against it for correct seam.

Such a great thing! Has transformed my 'all over the place ' sewing lines to proper straight lines. And also now have accurate 1/4 inch seams! Wish I had found them sooner!. reusable so even better.

I find having this guide very helpful to keep my quarter inch seams correct for quilting. It’s nice that this isn’t super adhesive, meaning I can pull it off and replace it. It holds where you stick it. I cut it shorter so that it’s only on the area that I need it. It’s a little bit thicker than using multiple pieces of painters tape but it’s still thin. There is plenty of it so this should last me a really long time if I have to replace the piece that I have stuck on my machine right now.

These strips are pretty thick and longer than the competition, easy to place and remove. Save the sheet they come on to store them when not in use
