This is a fantastic upgrade from all previous versions of their phone cage.If you’ve ever used a phone cage like this, you know the annoyance of having to remove the phone from its case, open the cage, slide the phone in, and reverse it when done. The case is actually very nice and offers great protection from drops and scratches.When ready to use the phone cage, the case snaps in! I love it! It’s so much easier to use, and there’s a much lower chance of my phone getting dropped or scratched.The quick-release handles are great. The ones from last year’s model even work with this. The dual handheld setup provides incredible stability, making my shots significantly smoother and more professional-looking. It minimizes shaky footage even without a gimbal for simpler movements. The handles feel comfortable and balanced in the hands, making longer shooting sessions much less fatiguing.The wireless button on the quick-release handle is a brilliant feature. Being able to trigger recording wirelessly by just pressing a button on the handle is convenient and helps avoid jarring the phone when starting or stopping a take. It connects seamlessly, and the quick-release function works flawlessly.Beyond stability, the cage itself is loaded with mounting points—cold shoes and 1/4”-20 threads galore! I can easily attach my microphone, LED lights, power bank, and other accessories. This is a truly fantastic and well-made item even with one handle it’s perfect for every day use andmuch more secure if you’re always dropping your phone.The quality is just off the chart with everything fitting perfectly spring loaded ball detent mechanisms. It’s really fantastic for the money.

This system is really well set up, and the included case fits really well. I do wish the frame fit more 3rd party cases (didn't fit mine), but considering one is included it's not really a knock against it.The camera cover on the case, however, does jut out a bit - and the finish on the aluminum if pretty easily scratched. Don't expect this to look like new for long, but it's plenty hardy.

I'm a documentary filmmaker and experimenting with shooting on my iPhone 16pro. This cage is very well made and designed. I added a Small Rig hand grip that accommodates a 2TB SSD, a Kondor Blue hub and a Small Rig power bank holder. The only issue is sourcing appropriate USB-C cables to neatly tie everything together. I'm yet to use it on a project, but so far it is working splendidly.
