The traps that weren't broken did the job with a mouse.
I tried nonlethal traps for months and got no results. Odd considering how the mouse I got a while back was in the nonlethal right away before. This one was too smart or too stupid to climb in one. He wasn't too smart for this one. I'm not happy about it but I couldn't let him keep munching on food in my pantry.The trap was effective against a small mouse. I only needed one which is a good thing because not every trap was fully functional out of the box. A few were broken. The working ones were easy to set though I have trouble believing it would kill a rat.

Mouse traps at best, NOT rat traps!
False advertising. Shame on you Amazon, for allowing this.Not large enough or strong enough for a rat.I set 3 traps last night. All 3 traps were triggered, no rat, yet the peanut butter is gone.Epic failure.My game cam shows the happy, hard working and well fed rat.

Excellent and efficient product
These are great! First, they are easy to set up and MUCH SAFER than the old wire & wooden traps. No snapping fingers while setting the trap ! Secondly, they caught 4 mice within the initial 48 hours and it was easy to dispose of. We did not reuse the traps although the instructions say you can. These were also less expensive and less messy than the wire & wood traps.

Great mouse traps
I took a gamble on these traps even though they were significantly less expensive than other brands of this style trap. I was suprised to discover that these are exactly the same traps as those being sold at a much higher markup. They were identical all the way down to the warning label and the box they came in.

Great for mice
Great for mice, no good to catch rats. To weak of a trap. I needed a trap that works.

Best trap ever!
Works so well! They really have to go after the peanut butter I put in the cup. Easy to set. I'm an old school wooden trap person. My son told me about these.
