Super-powerful torch
This is an excellent torch, it’s quite large but not too cumbersome for daily use. It is really bright and the battery lasts for a long time and can be easily recharged using any USB C power source.

Nice but not as powerful as others
Nice, bright torch. The LCD display is a nice touch, but the light has a yellow tinge around the outside rim and is not as bright as other torches (I ordered 5 different torches for comparison, all at 500000 lumen). Also - when pressing the on/off button, the torch starts with the weakest light setting - so when you actually need to see something quickly, you need to click through to setting 3, the most powerful. A long press switches the torch off. Personally I find the torch unnecessarily large for its performance - I decided to keep a slightly smaller, slightly cheaper and slightly more powerful version sold by a competitor on Amazon. At first I wanted my torch to come from the UK, so I went with an English-sounding name, but all of the torches I ordered were manufactured and sold by Chinese companies.

Recommended weatherproof torch
Maxesla 500000 Lumens Torches Led Super Bright Rechargeable,Two-Button Control-XHM99.5 Powerful Torch,IP67 Waterproof Tactical Torch, for Camping,Dog Walking,Hiking,Gifting etc [Energy Class A+++]I like this torch. It feels weighty and nicely made, and the choice of USB C and A charging is really quite handy. The sliding collar for beam size is a tad loose so easy to knock out of place, but it’s not a huge issue. Being able to use the rechargeable battery included OR three AAA batteries is a welcome addition, fitted to the included battery holder, but you will have to provide those yourself. The Torch seems too big for the holder and the wrist strap gets in the way when putting it in the holder unless you feed it in first. The different brightness settings are very useful, and in use the light beam is very focussed when using the narrow beam as can be seen from my picture. The torch is IP67 rated so pretty weatherproof and in my view is plenty bright enough for most applications. In all I feel I can recommend this torch at the around 30 UKP price point.

super bright
This torch is very powerful and bright, lighting up large areas with ease. It’s great for outdoor activities. The two-button control is easy to use, letting me quickly switch between different brightness levels and settings, depending on what I need. The design is sturdy, and it feels solid in hand. The energy-efficient rating is a bonus, as it ensures the torch lasts longer without draining the battery quickly.

A bright torch!
The media could not be loaded. So.. I can't give in depth analysis of this torch and the technical workings of it but from a mum's point of view... it's bright and works well! The description means nothing to me really as in I don't get all the jargon but I wanted a torch for night time walkies with my doggie and just thought it would be a good idea to have a spare torch round the house in case the lights ever went for whatever reason. The torch is very bright as mentioned and illuminates further and wider than I had anticipated, which is great. Irs almost like a spot light. Makes walking round my estate a lot easier as there is no street lightening. The torch itself feels weighty.. but not heavy. It's substantial but in a well made way as opposed to a heavy cumbersome way. Comfy to hold and it looks sleek as well. Easy to fit in a bag.The only thing I can't comment on is how long the charge lasts. When I got it, I put it on charge and came back to it a few hours later. I took it out on a walk that night and it lasted the whole 30 minute walk although I didn't have it on constantly throughout. I've just tested it now on a 15 minute walk and it's working fine also.I don't have any negatives to mention about this apart from the price, its slightly spenny but saying thay in comparison to the supermarket torches I've had before, this is miles better.

Compact and powerful rechargeable LED torch.
This compact torch has many useful features and is well-made. It is a good size to fit in a bag or coat pocket, but is powerful enough for most purposes. The 5000MAH lithium battery is removeable, but is easily charged in the torch using the rubber-protected USB-C port. A useful display shows the state of charge as a percentage of maximum, allowing you to keep the torch in a state of readiness, and reducing the risk of running out of power. Like many such devices, the light intensity will start to drop as the battery nears depletion, so it's good practice to keep it near fully-charged.The body is a nicely-machined and anodised aluminium alloy with various surfaces for grip, but smoother in finish than many similar torches. The moving parts (battery cap and telescoping head are sealed with O-rings for waterproofness. A hand strap eliminates the risk of dropping the torch. I found the fabric holster, though well-made, too tight for practical use. A rather cheaply-made AAA battery holder is included as an alternative to the lithium battery. It might be useful in an emergency.Unusually, there are two rubber buttons to switch and vary the light. One cycles through three levels of brightness on steady beam. The other gives an even brighter steady beam plus flashing (strobe) and a neat programmed SOS Morse code mode. A long press of either button will turn the torch off. The buttons fall under the thumb or finger naturally, but can be confused with the rubber charging port and USB-A output port cover on the opposite side. I am not sure whether the two-button setup is a benefit or just unnecessarily complicated. The light beam is even and bright, with the usual colour-fringing, and about the size expected for a small torch. It can be concentrated and the range extended by pulling out the head, and this is constantly-variable between the widest and narrowest setting, though the action is a little stiff.Minor niggles aside (there probably isn't a perfect design for this style of torch), this a is a very capable and user-friendly torch, and in my opinion, worth the £25.99 current asking price.
