These are great, very happy with purchase, very handy.
Very happy with this head torch and although only really needed one quite happy having 2 as such good value. I'm now using one for crafting in the lounge now when I need extra lighting to knit or crochet. I do have a magnifying one with lenses but it's bulky when just knitting so now using this one instead with the spot lights on low. Originally wanted one to go up the garden to feed the foxes, my other torch is big and heavy and a nuisance having things in my hand and opening gates so needed something smaller, these torches are small and lightweight comfortable and easy to wear. Very bright and really good spread of light, saw the foxes beady eyes shining under the trees waiting for me tonight. They seem good quality although not had long enough to comment on durability or battery time but did use it for a good few hours last night and still on full charge. It will be great when the clocks change for dog walking too.

As above
Arrived well packed and both fully charged both working well, bright lights and will be very handy with the dark nights approaching. The automatic function by waving your hand will be very useful. They are also very well made and quite comfortable to wear.I would recommend them and cheap at the price for two.

Job done
Nice and bright straight out of the box, easliy adjusted to fit my head and feels natural rather than a huge weight. Around 6 settings for each, and the side lights adjust up & down which is good. Ideal for what i wanted and a good price.

Quality item but ...
This torch is top quality item and does what it says on the tin... but it's horses for courses. I am 69 with poor eyes but enjoy DIY and model making and this torch was to be an upgrade to my old one but i had some issues. Where the main light points is relative to the shape of your head, I have a roundish head from front to back this made the light shine slightly upwards instead of straight ahead, very noticeable viewing items at arms length but switching on the side lights cures this. Main light is very wide angle and does illuminate adequately but for not a great distance. The two side lights are great and adjustable and balance each other to knock out shadows for close up work. This light does not have a concentrated beam for distance due to its design. The side lights create an annoying reflection in spectacles. The mode I intended to use was the side light mode but every time the torch power down I had to cycle through the other modes to get to it. Outside my old torch can light up my roof in the dark during storms to check for tile damage, this torch not so good at that .. the hands free option works well but very sensitive and can be set off and on by near by objects. Basically it's horses for courses a good light for walking and cycling and generally wandering about, also some close up work. I am sending it back cos it doesn't out perfom my old light and doesn't have that concentrated beam for punching a hole in the dark .. nevertheless it is a quality torch in the correct situation ... My wife also said I looked like something from a bad sci fi movie when wearing it ha ha

Effective levels of pure cool white light
Excellent quality products. Both at a great price. Side spotlights can be angled to have precision lit-up areas when reading or undertaking delicate tasks that need both hands for DIY jobs. Highly recommend.

Excellent head torch. Very bright and with multiple light patters and light-weight.
I love this light! I've owned multiple head torches over the last few years and they've all had their down sides. My last one was great for brightness and was generally similar to this light. However, this light solves my main problem with my previous light - the band over the forehead area was solid and dug into me. This light is really light-weight and very flexible. The forehead section is flexible rubber so it's very comfortable to wear. I also like that when I want to switch off, there's no need to cycle through multiple light options first. With this torch, when you press the button, it goes right off. The side mounted lights are also excellent. You can tilt them down instead of just straight ahead and the light is a pure white, which I find is great for picking out items of a specific colour (instead of everything looking the same). The battery has also lasted well. I use it every night for about forty minutes, sometimes with the main light alone and sometimes with the side lights on too. It's lasted more than a week and I still have two of five bars left on the battery. i would definitely recommend this light. You get two for the price, which is great because you have a backup if the battery runs out unexpectedly.

Excellent multi-purpose headtorch!
Excellent hands-fee activated head torch. No point repeating the other 5* customer reviews. Very happy with quality and performance of the headtorch. Ideal for every activity that needs a hands-free torch. Be aware that if you select the 2 torch option that 2 torches are packaged in a single box, NOT 2 separate boxes. Because there's an option to buy a single torch, which is packaged in its own box, then you may logically expect EVERY torch is in its own box when ordering the 2 pack discounted option. The 2 pack option is NOT 2 boxes, but 1 box containing 2 torches. If you are buying multiple torches to give individually as presents, then you'll have to create your own indivudual personalised packaging if you purchase the 2 pack discounted offer. I bought an additional torch for myself but had to return it because the LED strip arrived partly detached from the rubber head band. I was able to request an immediate Amazon return and ordered a replacement which arrived next-day delivery and without any faults. I have purchased 4 more torches as Christmas gifts.

Great hands-free light
Bought these for my son who has just bought his own home. He loves being ble to have his hands free for DIY. Good strong light with wide beam. He hasn’t drained the battery yet, but loved the idea of it being rechargeable. Easy to use.

Purpose for wanting: I live in an area prone to storms and our power outages are always a minimum of 3 hours. A bad storm a week ago caused almost a 30 hr outage due to several downed trees on lines. I needed something like this in order to get from room to room in my home without hurting myself. It’s also useful for activities outdoors past sunset (walking out to my car, rummaging through my sheds, porch dwelling, etc. Setup: There is none. Mine came fully charged. Removed it from its small packaging and it was ready to go. Function: I have absolutely no complaints about function of this product. It performs very well. One photo included is pure nighttime. 9:26pm. No street lights nearby or other artificial light. The other is at the same time inside my home without any lights on. As evidenced, it allows me to see several feet ahead almost as clear as day. When using this on its highest setting, you would swear there’s a spotlight on nearby. The flash is a good feature to have for those who could possibly find themselves in dangerous situations and may need to signal for help. What’s most impressive to me is that it provides a very wide and useful area of light versus just a short tunnel of illumination in front of you. The strap is very easy to adjust and made of a rubbery elastic that’s comfortable on the head. Once I got the tightness where I wanted it to be, I could barely tell it was on. Overall: This is a fantastic headlight and one of the better that I’ve seen. I can’t speak to battery life as I have not worn it for long enough periods of time, but I do know that charging it is very easy and they’re very reasonably priced. Best thing to do for those who will need to wear for hours at a time is to buy at least 2 units and keep one charged on retainer. This is something that makes a great gift for those who love practical things they can actually use in day to day life. My dad is getting one for Father’s Day. He’s gonna love it, lol.

Amazing torch. Works brilliantly with excellent light from it. Not the most comfortable to wear but that can be overcome. Not suitable for smaller heads as very limited on adjustments. Battery indicator Not 100% accurate. Not suitable for relying on for working away at night but ideal for farm/smallholding or walking.

Demlaies Headlamp Rechargeable, Super Bright 230° Wide Beam Review This is the second COB (Chip-on-Board) LED headlamp that I have tried out and I really like them, compared to traditional headlamps—even other LED lights. It is super lightweight, very bright (at a short distance), and casts a very wide beam. This last feature is important to me as I spend a lot of nights each season backcountry horse packing and horse camping. This little ribbon of a flashlight illuminates the whole camp in front of me. It also lights up the whole tent. The two LED side spotlights cast their light further in a more-focused fashion and would be more suited to hiking or riding at night. I like the fact that there is a light on each side. When there is only one light on the side then it is off my focal point of my eyes, which is in front of me. It is important to note that if you wear glasses you will not likely want to use the side spotlights while wearing your glasses. Because they set way back by your ears they shine right onto your lenses. It is VERY annoying! The COB ribbon light does not create this problem. Note: because the side spotlights are just that—on the sides—the light they cast will be two SEPARATE beams. How close together they are will depend on how close you are to the object you want to illuminate. Working very close, like lighting up a desktop, it will seem like there is just one beam. But the further you are from an object, the beams will separate more and more, until they no longer even touch. Twenty feet away from a wall you will see two beams with a darker area in between. There is no way to aim the side lights to create one beam. This is an inherent flaw of all such headlights. A better solution would be to stack the two different types of lights right in front so no matter which one you used, the light would always be right in front of you. In addition, the left beam had a noticeable dropout of light when compared to the right. After looking closely at it I realized that the little LED was not centered in the opening of the reflective cone that surrounds the LED. However, I fussed with the plastic housing under the silicone headband just a bit and managed to get proper alignment. To me, the motion activation feature is a gimmick. I simply cannot imaging using it. I will most likely be using primarily the COB ribbon light the most, as it is perfect for use in camp. It is amazing technology. To quote one explanation: “In summary, chip-on-board LEDs are the latest and most advanced technology on the market today. Simply put, COB LEDs are brighter, consume less power, and output a higher quality beam of light compared to older LED technologies found in most other(s).” Aside from the aforementioned issues, the biggest drawback I have with ANY USB charged flashlight is the need to carry a power brick for week-long backcountry use. I like AA battery devices because I can swap them around among devices as needed.

I have a headlamp set that's basically two mini flashlights pointing in front of you, and I have the wide-angle kind that uses a strip of tiny LEDs. Then someone had the great idea to combine both, and here it is! Plenty of diffused illumination, and two spotlight-type lights when you need it. This might seem a little pricey compared to the cheap headlamps you see on specials at discount hardware stores, but this Demlaies headlamp is SO much brighter, and it's also rechargeable. One thing I've noticed about rechargeable versus batter-powered is the weight: the little rechargeable batteries weigh a lot less than three AAA batteries, and the headlamps with AAA batteries are also bulkier.
