Did not work
I don't usually write reviews but in this case, I feel compelled to. This product DOES NOT WORK as I hope my pictures will illustrate. I followed the instructions carefully but still, brand new seedlings, raised from seeds that were given to me as a present were destroyed the first night they were planted out! The holly leaves were a last ditch effort to protect my baby plants while I can get better stuff. If you are looking for a natural slug repellant use B&Q's wool pellets, I only ordered these because I thought they were the same thing and B&Q was shut during lockdown. What a waste of money and time and effort with my little seedlings. Thanks a lot Slugless!

Ineffective - doesn’t repel slugs
I bought 2 giant bags of 4.5 kgs of this product - despite spreading the pellets very liberally over 3 flower beds - the pretty summer flowers have continued to be decimated on a nightly basis. This evening I’m more especially shocked (having doused the plants in large volumes of water) to discover the plants literally covered in slugs - baby slugs, giant slugs - they’re everywhere. There are even slugs visibly walking on the sodden, swollen wool. It dies not repel slugs at all. I would not recommend this product for the job at all. I have just decanted all my coarse table salt into the flower beds in a desperate attempt to save the newly bedded plants from further destruction overnight until I can get an alternative product delivered.

Useless!!
I have found this product to be utterly useless!My plants and vegetables have been stripped even though I have followed instructions to the letter!Am bitterly disappointed. I bought it because I have dogs and enjoy wildlife in my small garden so respected the pet safe and organic nature of it. However.....whats the use of that if it doesn't do the job!!!

A load of rubbish
I had a sunflower plant about18 inches high so I spread a handful around the plant as protection, but the next day it was gone. The snails or slugs had eaten it all. I should have left it alone. This stuff had attracted them. I gave some to my friend and he said it didn’t work for him either. So I think it is rubbish.

Works a treat for potted plants
I've used this sort of product before as my Hosta plants in pots are prone to attack and I dont want to use slug pellets as we get hedgehogs in the garden. This worked a treat last summer for our potted plants, I haven't used it on any border plants, therefore I can't comment on the use of this product for that purpose. Delivery was quick and before the intended delivery date. Thank you.

NOT SAFE FOR ANIMALS AND DOESN'T WORK
I have used it exactly as per the instructions, and there are still slugs and snails all over my plants.More worryingly, my dog ended up eating some of the product that fell on the floor and was ill for two days. Wouldn't eat or drink anything and was throwing up constantly. When he finally passed stools, it was full of the stuff. DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU HAVE PETS.Furthermore, I asked for a refund as I was incredibly unhappy with the product overall. They refused on the grounds that it was voted best product by some gardening magazine. Terrible, terrible excuse considering my vet bill and poor pup.DO NOT BUY.

brilliant .does the job required.ive searched and tried a few things to prevent slugs and this product is really doing the job.i put a circle around my fruits and veggies and then water once it dries its like a sawdust wh8ch the slugs hate. ive used this supplier many times now and have also introduced friends to this product as well .highly recommend

Does it work
Like so many such products it is messy and unpleasant looking once it has been made moist... but if it works then it is worth it... is my rule. It does appear to make some difference... though I have some pretty determined snails and slugs... and they take a while to respond. If iyt keeps them away... I will be happy.
