I have struggled endlessly over the years finding pillows that work for me. I am always looking for that pillow that strikes the perfect balance between firmness, comfort, and mass that actually holds it's form and doesn't leave me waking up in the middle of the night with a crooked neck because my head sunk too far into the pillow. While I already have a pillow I have been using for a few months now that I have come to really like, I was into the idea of this set of two pillows that are "adjustable".I am happy to say that my wife and I are both using one of these right now, and I am pretty impressed. I elected to try it as it is out of the box with no adjustments, and as someone that rotates constantly between my two sides and sleeping on my back, this pillow was incredibly comfortable and has done a great job of holding it's form throughout the night. I am extremely happy with it.As for the adjustability, it's pretty simple: open it up and remove or add more memory foam. I like that it came with some extra foam if you want to go even bigger than it is in it's default form out of the box. My wife likes her pillows a bit less dense than me, so so pulled a little out of hers and is quite happy as well.Really, any pillow that lets me wake up not hating life is ok in my book, and sadly for me, VERY few pillows do this. I am very finicky about pillows and have spend a small fortune on trying different pillows throughout the years. I am really happy to say that these pillows are the real deal.

I have never been a believer in the 'cooling' mattresses or pillows but I decided to give these a try since they had good reviews. As I get older, I find I sleep very hot and wake up with my hair in shambles. I have naturally curly hair, and sweating at night, means a complete reset on my hair the next morning.Right out of the package, I could tell that these were very cool to the touch. They come vacuum sealed, but inflate very quickly. There was a slight odor upon initially opening the package, but that went away very quickly and I was able to sleep on it the same night without detecting any odor. I don't understand how these work, but they truly are cool to the touch. Now, if you lay your head on it for a while, that spot will warm up, but you can roll to the other side where it is nice and cool. I am typically a stomach and side sleeper and I was afraid these would be too plush for me since I typically use a down pillow. They are actually perfect as they come, but you have the option to add or remove stuffing as needed to suit your individual sleeping needs. My husband absolutely loves this pillow and he prefers a more plush pillow. With that said, I think this pillow will accommodate many different sleeping positions and preferences for plushness. I am extremely impressed and am going to purchase a second set for our camper.

These are pretty awesome pillows. The fabric they are made from is... odd. Very silky, but a weirdly large/loose weave (see pic). However, once you put a pillowcase on them, that is not a concern.There is a *strong* chemical odor when first unboxing, but that is to be expected of memory foam. A day sitting out, which you should do anyway for it to fluff up fully, and that is mostly gone.One feature of these pillows that I have found difficult to find other than with down pillows, which I cannot use because my spouse is allergic, is that as you move it around to 'shape' comfortably, the filling stays in place nicely instead of trying to 'return to round'. It's not -as- much as down pillows, but it's better than most alternatives I've found.As for the cooling - I think that's a misnomer. However, "doesn't retain -as much- heat" is a bit long for a product description. It does do a decent job dissipating some of the heat. Where that really shines, though, is that it dissipates very quickly when you move. So, rather than having to flip it over to find a cool spot, you can just shift to the other side of the pillow. It's the wrong time of year to see how it does on a sweltering summer night, but I don't think anything short of sleeping on an ice block will help then.All in all, very nice pillows at a decent price point.

Wow! I wasn’t expecting to love these as much as I do but I don’t know if I could go on without them now! I’m totally hooked! I’m actually lying on one as I type and my neck is so perfectly supported, it’s great. It caresses my head and holds it in the same place for hours of comfort on end. The cooling effect is really nice, especially paired with my cooling blanket. It has truly improved my sleep quality. Last night I slept thru the night not waking up once! I can’t remember the last time I did that.I appreciate the ability to adjust the density of the pillows by adding or removing filling and it even came with extra in a plastic bag.Because it comes with a set of two pillows, the cooling cases, and the extra filling, I think the price is fair. It is by no means inexpensive or cheap but I suppose you get what you pay for. These are of excellent quality and comfort. There’s a lot of pillows out there that cost much more yet are far less comfortable. I say go for it because it’s hard to see someone not loving these like we do!
