I love this fountain it’s calming, quiet looks exactly like the photo!

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love this fountain. It has a sleek modern design and it doesn’t take up too much room. The motor isn’t loud and it’s so lovely hearing trickling and flowing water sounds throughout my work day. It makes my office feel so zen.

This is a good-looking, multi-functional desktop fountain. It's got a little USB-powered pump that seems to be well-insulated, the trickling of the water sounds good, and the chamber for plants or other items of your choosing is fully separated from the fountain part. I intend to put a live plant in it, as it thoughtfully has a removable pot with a drainage hole, making it perfect for live plants (though to empty excess water, you'd have to pour out the water in the fountain, too). My one complaint is that the sound of the pump is a little loud. It gets mostly drowned out by the function of the fountain, but you can still make it out.

Pump tube is insecure and will fall off after certain period of time. Stream is weak and doesn't cover the surface area of the fountain. Also, doesn't come with a way to plug in to the wall - you need to already have an appropriate power supply.

Very high quality material, sand color naturally blends in with any environment, impressed with the Umbra brand!I bought this to just place on my desk to just bring a little Zen to my work area, something that ties you into nature a bit. Staring at screens all day can't be that good for you, and this little desktop decoration definitely brings a piece of nature right to your desk. It's not gonna replace going out for a walk or something like that, but it does definitely bring a different ambiance to your work area if you're looking for that.It's easy to install, just plug it in and fill it up with the water and you're off to the races. The only thing I'll say is that I wish there was a water level indicator because I've noticed that depending on the amount of water you fill the fountain, it produces different kinds of waterfalls down the little fountain. If you fill it to nearly the top of the tank, it's produces a quieter, slower waterfall that spills over the entirety of the fountain. If you fill it only partially, but still enough to get the pump going it's a louder, more splashy waterfall that you end up getting. It's something easy to adjust, but you'll just have to get a feel for it when you buy this.I haven't yet purchased a plant for this fountain yet I'm still looking, I'm not sure what to put in there, but it's gonna look even more amazing once I put the plant in there. You could also just use this as like a pencil cup holder or something. Just store different objects in because water doesn't actually enter the area for the plant which I thought initially.

I got the Umbra Stream Water Fountain for Tabletop Desktop - Soothing and Calming Zen for Bedroom or Office for a space I use for working at home.It holds the pencils, scissors and highlighters perfectly and it’s aesthetically pleasing.But it doesn’t come with its on box for plugging in and it has to be plugged in to work so you have to buy that or use one for your phone and take it on or off and that’s not feasible behind a desk.For the cost of this product it should have came with everything needed to use right out of the box and it doesn’t.Next the tube HAS to be connected in such a way that the “fan” faces a certain side or it won’t work at all. It just makes a horrible noise.After numerous times of lifting the lid and positioning the fan and the tube coming disconnected I got frustrated.Finally I managed to get it right and working.Once working I kept it on while I was working and I’m still on the fence.I can’t tell if it’s soothing because the sound makes me think I’ve left water running somewhere because it sounds more like a faucet that’s been left on.Not sure I would pay 40 bucks for it. But then again others may be fine with the sound.
