They work great. Just make sure you don’t dent your line set or try compound bends at one time or these will be difficult to pull out

Makes bends in tight spaces. Will require strenght to remove them after bending but work in spaces benders cant get into.

These work great. Work flawlessly till one of my workers didn’t debur the end had tuff time getting 5/8 out of tube. Always debur they will last forever

These HVAC copper tubing bending rods have a problem. They stick to the inside of the copper tubing, they get too much traction and it is almost impossible to remove them if the bend is above 50 degrees. if you put a 90 degree bend in the copper it will be extremely hard to remove the insert. You will have to unbend the copper or you may not get these out of your expensive HVAC line set. They do keep the copper from kinking, but because the copper tubing will be narrower, these tubes will not slide back out. If you only bend a short section, they come out with a good bit of pulling, but they do not just slide right out. The material these rods are made out of needs to be harder. You might lube them with HVAC oil, and that may help, but if the 1/4 and 3/8 rods get stuck in a bend, they will stretch and pull into two pieces, leaving you with a piece stuck in your tubing. You will have to straighten the tube, cut a bit off and then you can pull it out. If you limit your bends to gentle radiuses they will work better. I only inserted 65 inches into my 5/8 " tubing and it was a very difficult two man job to pull it out. If you make one bend then pull it past the bend before making the next bend you might be able to insert it farther into your line set.

Used to install a Della mini split and avoided kinks whilst bending the line sets. Perfect

I honestly didn't get to use them with my project because shipping took too long. They showed up about a week late.I think they will probably work, but make sure you give yourself some time if you need them.
