Purchased this for my 9th gen iPad. Installation was technical, time consuming and detail oriented, but simple. The included tools worked well, although I had some of my own already from other devices I've worked on. The packaging was solid, and seemed to be strong enough to sustain the rough shipping process. The fit and finish were great, and I was happy to see the note about the swap of the home button, to retain Touch ID.

Works with Apple Pencil! I've used a few others that do not but this one does. The digitizer includes everything you need (and probably more than you need) to do the job. Replacement on my iPad 9th gen was easy. If you have a 3d printer, you can use the heatbed at around 80C to safely help the glue let go on the old screen. Would I buy it again? Absolutely!

The glass is too thin cracked easily when pressed to seal the screen, I fix phones and iPads professionally and these are poor quality. And the screen protector is paper thin

This product worked exactly as expected. The installation was so much worse than I thought. I followed a you tube video and still could not get it seated correctly. It was absolutely operator error, the screen worked perfectly. Just remember that you will lose touch sensor.

No instructions but no big deal as I was able to find it on the internet. However I completed the replacement but the touch screen never worked. They send me another one and now the ipad will not even start up. However the seller was very responsive and in the end offered to reimburse me.

Better than a cracked digitizer, but not nearly as nice as the OEM one was, there is some scratching on the glass. As long as you manage your expectations this is a decent replacement though. You do need to have your own torx bits though, this kit doesn’t have one. iFixit makes a bunch of great kits.

home button comes installed thankfully but does not respond to fingerprint unlock which is cool because it was inexpensive and easy to install. better than i expected
